What a legend.
Overrated.
Wouldn't be as famous as he is were he not blind.
I went to see him on Tuesday, he's a class act alright.
You simpleton

I'll poke your eyes out then you can give x factor a go if its that easy.

I didn't say it was easy. Just that he is overrated and wouldn't be as famous as he is if he were not blind. It's just my opinion. He has a few good songs, but that is about it for me. Not really my type.

To be fair, you're entitled to your opinion but I think it's a staggering bit of ignorance.
If he isn't your type that's not really his fault is it? How can you say he's overrated if you clearly don't like soul and r&b (I'm assuming?) and he's one of the top artists in that genre?
tard
You've made it clear 'it's not your thing' but have you clarified the 'wouldn't be as famous were he not blind' comments yet?
Nope. I think it is pretty self-explanitory.
Well come on, how old are you about 14?
It's like saying people only listen to Steven Hawkins theories because he's a spacker.
Don't forget he's black too, if only he'd been jewish he would have outsold the Beatles![]()
No, I'm 17. Maybe saying he is more famous than he is purely because he is blind is naive. I just hazard a guess that were he not blind, he wouldn't recieve as much praise and recognition as he has done.
You are talking out of your arse.
The man is a genius regardless of his disability.
What I have a problem with is your insinuation he only got the recognition he did because he is blind. It's a ludicrus and highly disrespectful thing to say.
I hope that was petty insult free enough for you.
Do yourself a favour and get hold of 'Talking Book', 'Songs in the Key of Life', 'Innervisions', 'Music of my Mind', (stay clear of his 80's stuff) and keep them for when you grow older. I was listening to metal when I was 17 so I know where you are coming from.
Lest we forget his wonderful performance in one of the Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello "beach" movies.
Great call.
Quality isn't that great but it's good enough ..
