Great player, can remember seeing him score at Celtic Park in last minute ran from his own half, we drew 2-2 that night, a young Micheal Owed scored 2 minutes played.

You pumped Liverpool that night and McManaman got them out of jail with that cracking run and finish.
 
I never quite get this McManaman is super biased obsession some people have.

This isn't Robbie Fowler who lived sniffed and slept Liverpool and was gutted to leave.
This is a guy who grew up supporting Everton and absolutely rinsed Liverpool for a big transfer free taking a Bosman to Real Madrid where he did all his trophy winning.
