His wife and kids are always on holiday or anywhere where he isnt. I think she checked out of that relationship years ago.

Unfortunately for Wayne it's never been his legs that have gone as we seen for some of his goals last season
It's Wayne's lungs that have gone all they years puffing a cigarette have caught up with him
If he signs for DC United i wonder how he will cope with the 100 degree heat they can get over there for a few weeks at a time
He is still a huge part of Man Utd history and i thought we were paying part of his Everton wages
so he would come back to Man Utd in some sort of ambassadorial role for the club but i could be wrong

It appears he hasn't received any offers from other Premier League clubs or Germany/France/Spain/Italy
Once he lost that short burst of explosive pace he had, his game started to dip and that was a few yrs ago

Nah that's wrong, it was noted that he took a paycut to join Everton.
Now that Rooney's decline isn't a problem for us, there is little point in harping on about his weaknesses. He was a fantastic servant for most of his United career.

Until 2013 he was doing ok but in 2014 it became very clear he was on the decline and by 2016 he was shot. You wonder how England would have done in the last Euro without him
I have never seen England matches in the 2004 Euro but people say he was incredible, from what I read there was a big fuss about him in 2004 and given how it worked out, understandably so.
He'll probably retire by 2020.

Will always have time for Wayne. I used to adore him but for his last three years here, I couldn't stand him. Those feelings of fondness have returned since he left.
Normally when things aren't going his way, you'd see anger in his face. Over the last few months of the season, he had the look of resignation. You could tell he thinks his time is up. Quite sad at 32 years of age. He's not an old man.
Quite sad. Iniesta is 34 and still setting up goals in the World Cup, Ronaldo is 33 and still socring them. How is it Rooney, who is younger than both, has allowed himself to deteriorate to the point that no leading side in Europe wants him?

He was good in the first LVG season iirc correctly. It started to go really down hell once he became the main striker in LVG's second one, from this point I was calling for him to get sold every match. Still have loads of great memories regarding him.
It twists my melon that Ronaldo is older than Rooney but i'm happy about this moved. I loved Rooney growing up and I'm relieved I don't have to watch a 33 year old Rooney lumbering around Everton getting out-paced by pretty much every defender in the league.

feck sake. moyes was the biggest mistake this club made.
His form had started deteriorating even in first season under LVG. He was decent food the first four months then went to shit. The same thing happened In the Moyes campaign. But his form never recovered from around that Jan/Feb 2015. The Spurs game was one of his few good performances during that period.
His lowest point will always be Villa away in 15/16. That performance took the biscuit. The Watford game comes a close second.
He wasn't a top form but still contributed to the team well in several games and scored some good goals in this season. Next season he became totally shite.
