Squad Numbers 2014/15 - Januzaj 11?

Great to Januzaj get the 11 shirt, hope that he can do it proud. LVG should enjoy working with him with his record with youth. Such a talent can't wait to watch his game developing.

Was hoping that Januzaj would get the number 7 shirt, still having nightmares about Valencia desecrating that number 7 shirt. Hopefully someone good comes in a grabs that number.

I think the point they are making is a new signing no matter how important won't take a number already taken, which in theory could happen. For example, if we signed Di Maria and Vidal you could argue 7 for Vidal and 11 for Di Maria, but Januzaj will keep 11! Probably a bad example, as Janusaj is awesome, but just explaining as think it's a necessary reassurance for anyone thinking about buying a shirt.
 
Looking like 7 was purposely left vacant for Di Maria. Getting excited about number 9 now.
