The

Same... didn't noticed it at all but i just checked and it is there on android phone using chrome.

Getting it on almost every other thread now. Yet to have it on the home or forums screen though.

Thanks for the screenshot.

Can you screenshot the ad on the page when it happens?

I get a different popup, this is what I'd usually get.
It's the Dutch language by the way.

I don't have this issue

The bottom bit says "drunk ok, open the door again" though I'm not sure why your phone is telling you that.

I get this issue too btw.

@Raoul @Damien

Thought I'd post this here but recently everytime I open the caf on my iPhone or iPad I keep getting redirected to this webpage

http://www.best-iphone6s.com/new-iphone/Luckyusers/gb/4389/index.php?s=22675565

Basically it says I've been chosen to win a free iPhone 6s...lucky me. Any help to stop this please.

Edit** forgot to say it only pops up when I load up the caf other sites it never happens
Ive been getting this now too. On the iphone.

@Niall

i assumed this wasn't actually a real problem until it started happening to me. i randomly get err_connection_reset when browsing from chrome on my iphone 6plus. it tries to redirect to http://ei.rlcdn.com/405546.html?red...b8fa349aae4826462e664d338776017412caa3caa1c00

it's always http://ei.rlcdn.com, not sure if the rest of the domain string is always the same. it happens randomly in forums, threads and conversations. could be my phone/browser but that would require some effort on my part and quite frankly that's not something i'm currently prepared to do :)

@Niall @Damien - refreshing the "Manager's Press Conference | Bournemoth" thread in the United forum with Safari on iPhone 6+

Url redirected to: http://www.best-iphone6s.com/new-iphone/Luckyusers/gb/3230/index.php?s=2401702

Also been getting exactly this of late. Driving me nuts.

Also happened me when visiting WhoScored, but nowhere else as far as I can see.

Could it be related to a dodgy ad partner shared by both sites?

Edit - using Safari on iPhone.

Same thing happens to me. It works fine on safari but safari also sucks, so there's that.

I've been getting as well for the past couple of weeks. Iphone 5 and chrome

I have no issues. Iphone 6s with Safari(and never had to be honest). But yet I'm on contract and I rarely login through wifi while on phone.

The only reason I can think of someone getting it and someone don't is if the ads served by the site(which are based on user interest) or ads partners are serving ads with content that triggers those malware/spyware errors.

I get those iphone ads from my laptop as there I have cookies/history of searching for related content, but never from the phone itself and probably I won't be served related content on phone by the ad partners.

For all the people erroneously suggesting the problem is local to the user, this is more than likely caused by RedCafe's adverts provider having ads slip through that contain redirects in their responses for mobile users, which is an issue that came up recently for Imgur.

If I was @Niall, I would take note of the domains the user is sent to and maybe mention it in whatever communication lines you have with your provider, which from the looks of it is Google Ad Services. I would bet this is something they're aware of, but at least you would know what the problem is.

That's the key to it really. To deal with it Niall needs the specifics of where on the site you were, when it happened, where did it send you. Because of the location/context sensitive ads it can be literally only a handful of posters seeing a particular misbehaving ad.

You're spot on @Guy and @jojojo, that's why I need as much detail as possible when people see this so I can pass it on.

I'm not seeing these issues on any of my devices so can't replicate it. I'm dependent on details posted here: URLs, screenshots etc.

Adblock is ramping up the blocked adverts on the Caf lately. 119 on this page alone for me right now.

Almost every page I click on in a threads redirects me to one of those dodgy ads like posted above. Can barely use site atm

Clear your cache first of all.

If it happens again then please post screenshots of where you are redirected to as well as confirming the page on the caf you were on when it happened.
