Spurs To Put Ten Players Up For Sale

FFS... Just give him some wine and he might suprise us after all...

But yeah, Add Defoe to the Larsson, Owen -category

Khumalo, Gomes, Falque can all leave without any kind of replacement. As well as one of Huddlestone or Parker (though I think Livermore is more likely to be moved on before either of them).

I'd be very surprised to hear that we were trying to sell Townsend.

Don't really see the point in selling Friedel either.

And as furious as I and I'm sure AVB is with both Defoe and Adebayor, I don't think we can afford to sell them both. Too much of a risk.

Townsend might be a discipline problem. If he broke some gambling laws then it's not unreasonable to think that he's been disciplined for something else before.

Friedel is probably on too good of wages for a backup keeper in AVB's opinion. He'd be like your own Cudicini. Oh wait...

i'd take huddlestone for a small fee. there's a decent footballer in there somewhere.

Definitely to throw in the mix for big away games. But he could easily get a first team role at a medium club of his choise. Can see him going to Liverpool.

Defoe has never really been wanted throughout his entire career, no matter where he is at, strange career really.

It's really just Harry who loves him. He'll probably try and get Defoe to go to QPR.

Wouldn't surprise me if he went either, he seems to do a job wherever, very unfortunate player for me, deserves more credit than he has got when you look at his career

Because he's a shockingly bad footballer, who contributes little or nothing to team play and only scores about 1 in 3.

He's worth 8-10m, or at least he used to, in the same sense as Bent and Steven Fletcher cost more than that. A player that guarantees you 10+ goals will cost that no matter what else he contributes because goals is kind of the ultimate contribution.

Scoring 1 in 3 is actually a praise Pete. It's long been said that a typical good striker scores 1 in 3 chances.

His club career total is 210 goals in 513 appearances. That's a 41% ratio: a fair bit better than 1 in 3. And then you have to consider that a fair few of those appearances will not have been full games, but 2nd half subs.

Forget the goals scored in a 6-0 drubbing of Slovan Bratislova on a Thursday. He's got 123 in 377 in the PL (just under 33%). This would be decent if he was contributing more to overall team play but he adds feck all.

Wait, when everyone says Remy, do they mean QPR's arrested-on-suspicion-of-gang-rape Remy?

I don't think so if you've had any experience of Sapphire operations.

"only".

I think Arsenal wouldn't mind a regular 1 in 3 man!

Oh sorry, you have Giroud!

They'd be excellent signings and improve Spurs significantly. Even if Bale did leave, signing them two would cover his absence and then some. Aubameyang's stat last season were ridiculous.
