Spooks

That is a certain part of it's allure though, no-one is sacred and anyone could be the next to go. It does make things a touch more exciting when characters are in dangerous situations and may not come out alive. That doesn't happen often in TV shows, and detracts from the tension.
Yes.
They have in the past attracted good actors who have other, often better, things to do. They have to kill 'em off all the time.

Faded out tof this a season and a bit abck, which is rather annoying seeing as loads of people i know still watch it.

Don't much like Ros myself, was better with Zoe and then Fiona IMO.

I did hear Peter Firth say on the radio when promotign the new season that there will be a further and potentially final development in regards to Harry/Ruth. That happened yet?

Enjoyed watching this lately and even watched the BBC3 one last time. There is only one left now in the series for me to watch but that isn't on BBC3 next week so I'm going to have to wait ages.

Don't want to spoil it for anyone but damn they like killing off people in this show don't they...

No and that may well be in the next series assuming that there is one.

I actually only started watching the 9th series and I really enjoyed it. Is it defo worth trekking back across the earlier series?

Only just dawned on me that the Turkish gangster Zoe got involved with before she got "sent to prison" was actually the Fonejacker.

Multi-talented.

I started around series 4 and then went back to watch it from the beginning and it is definitely worth it. A terrific series but they are probably right to end it now.

I just started watching this recently. Only on series/season 2. It's quite good.

Oh yeah I like it. They used to show it regularly here and then stopped. Can we get the DVR to remove it from the recording list, though? No.

Just got to the "Ros dies" episode where she's not really dead. Do they not embalm people in the UK? If they did, she'd be dead anyway. I know they wanted a surprise, but this is bollocks. Maybe because my uncle owns a funeral home I thought about it.

Embalming is optional here in Australia and I think it is in the UK as well. I know we didn't pay the extra to embalm my old man when he died last year. Seemed pointless since we were BBQing him. In any case I'm pretty sure that the funeral home would need to be involved to get her out of the building secretly. If they were involved I suspect they wouldn't mistakenly embalm her first ;)

Is this worth watching? A mate has every series on his hard drive so I'm wondering whether to give it a go.

First couple of seasons are. Like any show with outlandish plots, it gets increasingly ridiculous the longer it goes on, obviously.
