Seems that they might have been right about Valencia and Jose falling out though. But I can't see Young and Mourinho falling out though.

Valencia and Jose falling out (and being dropped), is a good think IMO. If Valencia left us today, which top 10 EPL team would he get a starting position in?
Valencia simply is not good enough to play for MUFC.

    Isn't Rojo injured?
Seems not. These are the players who got on the plane:

David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant, Diogo Dalot, Ashley Young, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini, Andreas Pereira, Scott McTominay, Fred, Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku

Tbh the media are having a field day. Managers fall out with players all the time. Our fans just love negativity based on speculation.
It seems Valencia came off midweek because of injury. Also Darmian might be injured too.

Dalot starting would add a lot to this potentially dull affair.

Can't remember the last time this was a good match. Probably under Van Gaal that time Martial got a couple.

Not looking forward to it anyway.

    Squad for Southampton game

Goalkeepers (3): David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Lee Grant
Defenders (7): Diogo Dalot, Ashley Young, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw
Midfielders (7): Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Marouane Fellaini, Andreas Pereira, Scott McTominay, Fred, Paul Pogba
Forwards (5): Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku

    Leaked team

De Gea, Dalot, Jones, Rojo, Shaw, Matic, Fellaini, Pereira, Mata, Martial, Rashford.

With Young and Pogba rested in midweek, is it likely they'll be left out today? I'm not sure.

    Start for Dalot makes sense

Ashley Young is currently on four yellow cards (one away from suspension). If he were to play today and pick one up, then he'd miss the game against Arsenal in midweek. Makes sense to play Dalot (or someone else) here instead as Southampton are at the bottom of the league.

Wouldn't be surprised if Young were to pick up a yellow card against Arsenal so he'd miss the game against Fulham instead of being at risk of missing the game against Liverpool.
Really confident about this game. I'm certain we can nick a point, just as long as we don't do anything stupid like attack.

I'm predicting my worst ever lineup prediction ever... and a boring match with a narrow 1 goal margin win.

Think United will win because Saints are so bad even we can't lose against them.

Quite telling the fact* that the pre-game page count seems to be getting shorter with every passing week unless it's a big game.

    * This may not actually be a fact but it feels like it.

C'mon. You can't drop this stat without a full list the the results along with the managers to compare. Get to work.

I have absolutely zero recollection of drawing 0-0 at home with Hull... and I most likely attended that game live.

SAF is at the game today.

    16:20
Sir Alex Ferguson is at the game
Always good to see him at the ground.

Worried McTom is in defence for injured Lindleof.

No Rojo still? Him and Jones struck up a decent run of games last season together.

Bailly probably still in a daze after the Newcastle game

Awful team, luckily we are playing a side even worse so should win but who knows.
