Someone's been trying to get into my account

Sounds like the website is trying to... hack itself

How did you check that?

In the email the software sent me yesterday saying someone had unsuccessfully tried to force their way into my account, it gave an IP address from where the attempts originated from.

Grabbing additional details is simple. Just run it through an IP lookup service like 'whois'; etc etc
 
ahhh, so that's what that was...happened to me yesterday too, but at work.

Came home a few hours later, and everything was fine again, so I didn't bother with it, but it appears a lot of people had the same issue.
 
Looks like this was caused by a configuration issue on one of the servers. The problem is now resolved so it's nothing to worry about - your accounts aren't being hacked and Redcafe isn't trying to wipe out mankind! :)
