Someone's been trying to get into my account

Tried to log on earlier (about two hours ago) to find that my 'incorrect password quota' had been used up and I had to wait 15 minutes.

Anyone have this happen to them recently? Best change passwords now I think.
 
Happened to me now. It's getting serious I think. They're clearly going after the talent :D . If they are reading this btw, middle finger smiley.
 
If you do receive this message or have done, be on the safe side and change your password to a more secure one, if it's not already. Using uppercase letters and numbers will help make it more safe.

A lot of us having similar issues.

Raoul has reported the problem to Niall.
 
Could be software glitch.

If someone tried to hack our accounts we'd only be locked out for 15 minutes.
 
Happened to me just before, and I'm hardly a big name :lol:.

I doubt it's some one personally trying to access our accounts.

It could be that a single password error is leading to this message, rather than 5 or whatever it is?

We can't even log onto the Admin Control Panel...
 
Yeah but I logged on in the end just by constantly trying within a minute of me waiting for my third 15 minutes

This forum software isn't exactly a secret, it's not difficult to know the URL of the admin panel and do exactly the same thing.

I seem to remember before the site do-over, there was a link that quite visibly said "Admin Login"

I was watching this programme last week were some geeks were saying the next World War would be cyber attacks on military installations. Apparently they attacked the Iranian nuclear programme.

Hi everyone. I managed to log into the Hairdryer's account. He had an easy password. Sorry if shut anyone else out for a minute or to. I wasn't intending for anyone to log in within fifteen minutes of me trying to hack their accounts.
 
You can easily keep all the admins and mods out with a simple script. VB needs to change it's security from access blocking to captcha.
 
Just checked the IP of whoever tried logging into my account yesterday...it comes up as a 'redcafe-shared' address out of the UK.

Feck knows what that means, though :confused:
