Didn't he then roll it in for the throw immediately after? I had an inkling he'd be absolutely terrible, seems he's even worse than I thought.

Ye. I didn’t think he’d be that bad to be fair  Him and his brother being massive United fans and into football. Would have thought he’d played as a kid  suppose when your using your hands all the time though you forget what to do with your feet

I reckon Patrice could of done a Johnny Evans and solved our Left Back crisis last season . What a player he was. Hazard has only just retired seems a bit unfair he is playing

Considering some of the states he’s been over the years Robbie Williams is looking well

Has it been explained why the pitch is so awful yet?

Rooney was only just retired when he did it and he didn't even look like a footballer he was shocking

Feels like England have a lot more pros on the pitch mind.
Less women also surely?
I thought you had to have equal numbers of women on the field at all times, they never seemed to mention that this year

I watch the game most years as it's always interesting seeing some of the former players again.

Though I generally only tune in for the match itself, rather than all the celebrity talk before the game and at HT.

Celebrity wise, I mostly only recognise the comedians or actors. Generally don't really know the musicians or YouTube / TikTok / reality TV stars.

Poch came across as a bit of a clown which is concerning
He did. But I was putting that down to a pressure on him to act like the celebrities / hosts / Harry Redknapp and Robbie Williams on the other bench, and to try to be much more of an 'entertainer' than he'd obviously normally be for a proper match.

Personally, I found a lot of those clownish antics far more annoying than funny - but I'm very much not the target audience for that kind of show (or for anything really, nowadays) so I expect most of the viewers for it would prefer to see him act like a clown than behave like a normal manager.

I think Defoe did it when he was still a PL footballer (and inevitably won it for England).

Wazza had massively declined in his last few seasons at united. Thats not a surprise. Hazard balance and dribbling still looked good. Shame he played for Chelsea would of loved him here.

We WOULD have had him here too if the glazer's weren't penny pinching cnuts during Fergies later years

Yes good call he obviously has a serious side but would rather he had stepped away from that game if he was in contention to be our new leader which I now think he will not be. My money would now be on ETH will be given the chance he possibly deserves to see out his final year with Tuchel brought in during his "break" if it all goes tits up.

Hazard, Joe Cole and Evra stood out for me for ex footballer wise, Defoe too. As for the celebrities probably Bartlett and Tom Grennan.
I know Tom Grennan. Man's a tosser

But he used to train with Luton Town F.C. until an injury forced him to retire (or something like that).

I only got to know him after he became a singer.
