The summer should see us looking for a powerful forward and ideally, a two-footed full-back(insert your own joke at will).

I'm afraid you'll just have to put up with the transfer speculation JJ. In many cases (Shevchenko is a case in point) agents throw United's name into the mix for any number of reasons. To talk a player up and raise his profile, put pressure on his present club with regard to contract talks, squad status etc.

I think Barca are the strongest Spanish contenders for Cisse. I heard this on Sky Sports.

Isn't Cisse a bit too similar to Saviola though? Well if Barca is after Cisse then, they can have him, we'll take Saviola off their hands :)
 
i see no reason why shevchencko would want to leave or why milan would want him to leave...i think ronaldinho would be great, though granted very expensive, but i can't see him leaving the continent...

I think Cisse is a bit more different than Saviola. Although their skills may be the same , Cisse has more strenght and can hold up the ball up front which makes him a target man while Saviola is more of a link up striker.

But it would be great to have any of these players of such calibre at Utd. ;)
