So, who after Keano.......?

No.

Davids is an attacking ,holding, defensive midfielder,if you understood the dynamics of 11-a-side football you would understand this.Davids was the outstanding midfielder of the 90s in Italian football, while Keane has dominated the Premiership basically since 95.This classification of players such as Keane ,Davids and Viera as defensive midfielders for example is a fallacy;they are the players which control world football. They are the the best footballers in the world, and Keane is the most brilliant of them all,he is the most multi faceted player I have seen in 20 years,he excells in defense,in midfield and attack equally and better than any player I have ever seen, and to be honest he would be one of the first names on every team sheet for World Cup 2002.Christ, I cant wait for the World Cup! :)

None of you have yet considered the possibility that Keano could be a manager for United some day - in which case he'll probably put whatever Corkman he can lay hands on in the role of captain. We'll be fecked when he takes over...

;)

It is a real shame that Joe Cole has pledged his future to West Ham as he would have been a brilliant lad to bring in to Old Trafford. He has so much potential but i think he can only go so far at W.H. Saying that though he would definetely be in MY England team.

David Dunn is another top notch youngster, the problem these days is clubs are so afraid of being stung by a 'bosman' that they like to sign young players up for long stretches, 3-5 years even. That means someone like young Joe Cole will be very hard to get, although obviously some money is to good to turn down, but we cant be throwing silly money at 'potentially' good players can we?.

I havent seen Stewart play but i hear he is also exceptionally good. Of course we do have Veron whom has many a season left in him yet, but he doesnt appear to have the motivational skill required for such a job...

All in all, the player i would most like to see under Roy Keane's wing is Joe Cole, i just wish he would change his mind about west ham.

God help us all!

Vieira! You have got to be joking! Keano`s role is about character as much as about playing ability. In fact playing for Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson has more than much to do with character.

Vieira is a bloody sulker, whines like a spoilt brat to the media, and had quite some time slagging off Arsenal (the club that made people sit up and notice the big whinger from France. Swanning around Florida and pausing to aim bitchy broadsides at Arsenal is Patty`s idea of a holiday.

Later it was all blamed on `his agent`. It always is, but even if a player`s agent is the force behind such behaviour it tells you something about the player who gives their agent carte blanche to behave in such ways.

F___________ that big dope! How dare anyone mention his name in the same breath as the Fighting Irishman Keano, who doesn`t bitch about his club while holidaying. Sure Keano wanted a better pay deal but any of his words on the subject were well chosen.

Comparing Vieira to Keano is like comparing a match`s flame to the sun. Come off it!

If Keano takes over the world it will be a better place, lots of football and lots of money-count me in!
