It's cool, but for the money if I was to buy a non-game SNES item, I'd rather buy a Super Famicom (Japanese SNES) from eBay.

But yep, definitely a cool thing :)

Nope I much preferred the enjoyment of them.

To be fair its silly money when you can pick up second hand copies for a few quid. I understand they may be seen as collectors editions or whatever but its crazy nonetheless.

If you just waited 20 years you could of played them for free with an emulator.

Edit: just realised you probably wouldn't have had to wait that long.
 
Back in the day if I had a game ready to be opened on Christmas day and I was warned of the financial implications of breaking the original packaging. Best believe I'd have put that shit in storage
