He is a free agent in the summer. He is not at all a bad player to have in our team for two years. It would be nice to see Pirlo and Scholes work together in a 4-3-3 formation for at least one season.

That would be an absolute nightmare, I would seriously feel for the third midfield player in that midfield. He would probably spend the whole game running and running and nothing else.

Obviously the PL is tougher and he's probably past it and the 3rd man in the midfield would be knackered from running all match but we miss someone who will actually try that shit.

Five or six years ago I'd have had him in a heartbeat but now he's in his twilight years and it not exactly what we need. We do need a creative midfielder, and while his passing is good, we've got Scholes for that so he's not exactly a necessity.

I wouldnt mind signing Inzaghi intead just so he could do his way way over dramatic celebrations in front of the kop if he scored against the scousers.
