Slender - Free PC horror game

Creepy ass game. Feel like I've played it watching these videos. Not my type of game though.

feck that for a laugh, no way would I play that shit

The guy in the first video you post is the most irritating person I've ever encountered.

I couldn't even find a single page. Looked for about 10 mins, and then got bored. Shame, cos I'm intrigued as to where and when it's meant to get edgy.

The fecking IGN trailer made me jump... so I don't see myself playing this any time soon.

Yes, I'm a wimp... what of it?!

I once bought Amnesia thinking I might play it sometime, still haven't. I'm too much of a chicken.

Fancy it will end up gathering dust on my pc if I downloaded this as well.

It says so in the IGN video. When you pick up the first page he starts chasing you. And he will do so after page 1, 3, 5 and 7.
The pages appear in random places.

yeah, it was alright for a freebie. similar feel to amnesia in that both relied on immersion and a feeling of vulnerability for them to have any effect. i do like that type of gaming experience, it just seems really difficult to execute over a full game in a way that keeps you hooked. obviously being like a demo this wasn't going for depth, but with amnesia after a while the mechanics detracted from it a lot for me - the shaky vision and effects begin to push you away so that you're clear it is just a game and you're seeing the same things & repeating the same actions again and again. mechanical is the right word. that and the fact that the storyline didn't appeal so much.
