Slaugherhouse - The most talented HipHop group Ever?

Listened to the Escape Route EP last night. Finally some good production, Budden has been quite unlucky with beats in the past. Only had to skip the Slaughterhouse song, that autotune shit is just unbearable for me.

Yeah I think I been listening to it quite a bit too, favourite tracks so far are Clothes on a mannequin, freight train, connect 4, State of You

Oh yes, Pray For Me is such a genius of a song. Gives me shivers down my spine everytime I listen to it.

must say HsJ, have listened to this Slaughterhouse album a few times and it is actually pretty good - obviously nowhere near 36 Chambers or even Straight Outta Compton in the scheme of 'most talented hiphop group ever' but a lot better than I expected as I dont really know any of these guys at all

I think the album is brilliant.

But if you want something from each of the artists - just to see how good they can be - check out:

Crooked I - Hiphop weekly (55 freestyles)
Joe Budden - Padded Room, Mood Muzik (and my new favourite) Escape Route EP
Royce - Bar Exam
Joell Ortiz - Covers the Classics.

Just listening to some old buddens - some classic stuff:

Joe Budden
Future - (not the one with Game)

World Takeover

3 Sides to a story

6 Minutes Of Death

"They ain't super or luigi or Mario, ain't found that power
plus they couldn't spit fire if they found that flower"

Royce...
Dinner Time feat. Busta Rhymes

Fire.

On My Grind... featuring Joey 6'1

"I'm like the elevator broke...I get a lot of stares..."

The Bar Exam 3 - what a feckin album. Cover to cover.

Bar Exam 3 was quality. Just started listening to Slaughterhouse.

There was some major criticism for Bar Exam 3, no? I only liked bits of it. Royce for me is like standing still at one place, nothing new coming to the table.

Crooked I has always been a bit hit and miss for me. He gets too....gangsta? at times.

Wish Joell would finally get signed and drop Free Agent.

Can't wait for Budden's Mood Muzik 4 either.

Crooked is probably the hardest rapper out there at the moment.
Royce's flow is just too much sometimes.

Royce rips every track on this album, even 'I hate your pants'. Just rips all the beats nobody else did (Over, Airplanes etc).

Do you still think they are the most talented Hip-Hop group ever?

What does Slaughterhouse touring your area have anything to do with them being the most talented hiphop group?

Has Biscuit been in here yet to represent the S.O.D.M.G?

Just played most of the Slaughterhouse videos posted and I have to say that this is some of the worst onanistic rap I have ever heard. Royce is the Zlatan of hip hop. He's been living off a Premier pop beat forever.

I assume you haven't really listened to much of his stuff yet then? I haven't posted most of the material, so its a bit stupid to make a judgement like that based off a few videos.

The most talented Hip Hop group ever is Young Money, YM Bitches

feck is y'all talking about

What was the name of the supergroup Diddy created. Dream Team or something? Yeah, that's the shit, fo sho!

Their album has been 'released', it's a solid effort but I preferred the first album.
