Nah that is your best side already, it is perfect tactically and has enough individual ability to create chances forward too. For all the praise I've given Beckham, the same goes for Alves offensively. His assists speaks for itself.

I wouldn't do it myself. There hasn't been a set standard for whether that is how it is supposed to work or not. In terms of being in the lead vote wise and then acting as if you are a goal up etc.
True, I doubt people who haven't voted will vote for me for trying to kill the game even though it may work in real life.

Dani Alves is perfect in that role, why would you upgrade him? Peak Alves is as good as any right back in history.
He should pick a leftback first and then play Alves or Lahm at rightback, depending on what kind of fullback he wants in his team. He could also just spend all his money on Pele and play Messi at right wing.
The issue is we keep having random people setting up and updating ops. If we agreed on a standard it would work well I think, we used to leave behind a record of each teamsheet with the score and rough time it changed. If you've only just entered the thread and see Cal?s original team then "At 18-12 and with 15 minutes to go Makelele comes on to kill off the game" I doubt anyone wouldn't "get it".
