Shut Keane Up

Come on, kids, he's riling the bastards, letting them know he's on his way back and he's going to come back with a vengeance!. Watch out, he's after yer! Keep on yer toes, stop messing about, shout at the team, drive 'em on, don't let 'em rest! lets stop fartin' about and get some action!

Hope he's very hard but not silly. He's right about one thing though, if your going to get sent off then take a leaf out of Denis Law's book and chin the bastard first!

come on Roy, get these bastards moving!

I dont think keane needs to change one bit. How many other world class players speak there mind and tell it like it is? Clubs pay there players to play not to be trained monkeys that act and say things that wont get people offended about. If you got mad at Keane for the prawn sandwich remark then you might want to think hard about whether you are one of the wankers he is talking about.Let Keane be who he is !!!

By the way, I dont condone violence in the game but I wouldnt bet against Keane versus any one in football if it came down to it...LOL

Yeah go on, criticise the best player we have had in recent years. Keano is a legend, fair enough he maybe should keep quiet but I find it hard to believe our fans can actually speak about this man in less than glowing terms. Look at what this man has led us to and I know people will respond back and say we are not criticising the player but the personality and my response is that I could never criticise a player like him, in the same way I could never criticise a player like Charlton, Law, Best, Robson, ETC

he's a moron.

he's actually saying that he'd have preferred a 6-game ban instead of a 3-game ban.

loony.</strong><hr></blockquote>

He could, just conceivably, have been making the point that players get pilloried for small things as well as big things.

It takes 2 anyway. There's always a flip side of the coin. Don't rush to judge.

Ah... we're back to the constructive criticism debate now aren't we?

So... you're not willing to listen to any on Keano?

Well, I for one prefer to judge Roy Keane on what he said, not what the biased, truth-twisting, ABU British tabloids tell me he said. Nowhere in the excerpt that I read on what Keane said in his video does he wish he had punched Shearer. Keane is talking about the discrepancy between the nature of offence committed and the harshness of the punishment and uses his sending off for the Shearer incident as an example. That is the truth and I have no intention of jumping on the ABU bandwagon and criticising my captain for something he didn't actually say.

I think there must be a serious heath-warning again trying to hit Alan Shearer at St-James' Unless ofcourse the daft Paddy would have liked to be chased around the pitch by 50 odd thousand furious Geordies. At least he would have known what a certain referee felt like ;)

TRM.

I think you'll find the term paddy is racist, I don't think you would say it too loud at OT with the amount of "paddies" at each game.

People here aren't offering constructive criticism on the player but the person,

There's no shutting him up:
Keane plans more words of wisdom
Roy Keane has not been deterred from adding another chapter to his controversial autobiography, even though the book has already cost him a £150,000 FA fine and five-game ban. Penguin have finalised plans for the extra words to be included in the paperback edition of Keane's life story. The new chapter is sure to include his verdict on his future with the Republic of Ireland following his World Cup walk-out. He will also be typically forthright about Manchester United's decline this season. United have banned players from writing books without permission. Keane's contract with the publishers predates the restrictions, however, so the club cannot stop him providing the additional material.
