New Shows :

The Playboy Club Series.

The drama is set in 1963 and centers on the opening of the first Playboy Club in Chicago. The pilot from Chad Hodge raised eyebrows when the cast, which includes Amber Heard, David Krumholtz and Eddie Cibrian, was asked to agree to nudity clause — typically unheard of on broadcast TV. The nude scenes are expected to only be used (if at all) for DVD and international versions of the show.

Awake

is from Kyle Killen follows the simultaneous and parallel lives of a detective who can not let go of any aspect of his fractured family after a horrible car accident (it’s been described as Inception for TV). Besides Isaacs, it also features Wilmer Valderrama and Steve Harris.

Grimm

A dark but fantastical cop drama about a world in which characters inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales exist. It stars David Giuntoli, Bitsie Tulloch and Kate Burton.

"Person of Interest"

is a crime drama from mega-producer J.J. Abrams. It's about a ex-CIA agent who works with a mysterious billionaire to fight crime in New York. It stars Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel.

What the feck like!!?

Parks and Recreation's back for a fourth season, isn't it?

Really enjoyed the third season.

Supernatural and Fringe have both been renewed.

“Brothers and Sisters” is done after five seasons and “V” is done after two.

The new “Charlie’s Angels” starring Minka Kelly is now officially on the ABC calendar. Fun fact: Carlton Cuse tried to bring “Angels” back to ABC seven years ago; when ABC failed to greenlight it, he soon after signed on to run “Lost.”

Speaking of “Lost,” ABC also just greenlit to series “Once Upon A Time,” from longtime “Lost” writer-producers (and “Tron Legacy” screenwriters Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz) about a New England town called Storybrooke that’s secretly populated by fairy tale characters. It stars Raphael Sbarge as Jiminy Cricket, Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin, Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White and Jennifer Morrison as Snow’s bounty-hunter daughter Emma.

ABC also just took to series:

* “Scandal,” yet another dramedy from Shonda Rhimes (“Grey’s Anatomy,” “Private Practice,” “Off The Map”),

* “The River,” a Leslie Hope/Bruce Greenwood hourlong from Michael Green (“Heroes,” “Kings”) about a family that encounters the supernatural as it searches for a lost TV nature host along the Amazon,

* “Pan Am,” a Christina Ricci-Kelli Garner period hourlong from the creator of “Crimnal Minds: Suspect Behavior” about stewardesses in 1963,

* “Good Christian Belles,” a Leslie Bibb hourlong from “First Wives Club” screenwriter Robert Harling which sounds a lot like a Texas Desperate Housewives,

* “Revenge,” an Emily VanCamp hourlong from writer-producer Mike Kelley (“Swingtown,” “The Beautiful Life: TBL”) which sounds a little like a Hamptons Desperate Housewives.

Ironically, there's no word on "Hallalujah," the pilot from "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry.

ABC announces its fall slate Tuesday.

CBS Greenlights To Series J.J. Abrams/Michael Emerson Reteam From DARK KNIGHT Screenwriter Jonathan Nolan!!

“Person of “Interest” is a Bad Robot crime drama from screenwriter Jonathan Nolan (“The Dark Knight,” “The Dark Knight Rises”) about a billionaire scientist who hires a former CIA assassin to get rid of troublemakers.

The project reteams Abrams with “Lost” star Michael Emerson, much as Fox’s “Alcatraz” reteams Abrams with “Lost” star Jorge Garcia.

Jim Caviezel ("The Passion of the Christ," "The Prisoner") plays the CIA vet.

Am I the only one who watched Fringe? I actually think its not too bad, although I wonder how they can fill a whole new season. It really does need to end soon

The same as anything, low ratings. And Deadwood was an expensive show.

HBO are as bad as anyone else. They cancelled Carnivale and Rome too.

They redeemed themselves by keeping The Wire going til the end though, even though it had rubbish ratings.

Lie to Me: Canceled

No Ordinary Family, is that the one with the guy from the Sheld, and they all have super powers?

That's JUST airing down here in Australia in a week or so.

Is the BSG prequel going to happen (not Caprica, the one about a young Bill Adama)?

Yeah I think so they started filming in February. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome it's called.

.

Yeah and Rita from Dexter as the wife.

Think The Incredibles in real life only, well not remotely as good BUT it's still very fun despite its silliness and plot holes all over the place. I really enjoyed it anyway, and it has Autumn Reeser

Disappointed it got cancelled.

The Event was cancelled? Least shocking news ever. Dreadful show.

JJ Abram's Alcatraz. It's got Hurley from Lost :D

Terra Nova

Looks like Avatar meets Jurassic Park

Awake

Grimm

There are so many series and I'm so busy these days, could someone point me to the 2-3 best please, I liked:

House
24
Big Bang Theory
Prison Break
IT Crowd
How I Met Your Mother

Grimm looks more like my cup of tea - if it's done right. Hopefully both series are good as I will definitely be downloading them when they come out.

I was watching the Grimm trailer and then it said 'From the producers of Buffy and Angel' and I stopped there. Not my thing.

True, that part was a little disconcerting. But it doesn't (well that trailer didn't) look anywhere near as corny or stupid as Buffy/Angel.

Grimm looks a bit meh to me. If done well it has the potential to be a big success especially since the cast looks half decent but the scope of it seems very small to me.

Alacatraz I'm looking forward to but can see that falling off by the second season. But am liking the sounds of it, just worry that they'll go down the same route as Lost/Heroes where they have a good first season then just completely lose it by the second.

Cool. Just googled it. This is the new Bill Adama, not much gravitas but hope it will be good.
