.... Who thinks our spending is over for this summer?

I've thought we'd be done following the completion of Kagawa for a while but the fact everything has gone dead in terms of speculation has only strengthened my opinion so I guess a second question would be how would you feel if we don't sign anyone else this window?
 
I reckon maybe a young talent like Clyne and hopefully a DM.
 
Nah it's not over but we won't sign the blockbuster player a lot are hoping for.
 
Didn't Fergie just get back a couple of days ago from Vacation? I think the work is just starting now.
 
Think we are in for three players , a CM ,LB and striker.But we still need to offload players , and it may not be as easy as first thought.

We won't sign a striker. Very likely that we will sign a full back and I reckon Ferige is in for a midfielder but like last year won't buy unless it's value for money.
 
Nope. Still reckon there's a couple more coming. We've also not had our who the hell is he signing yet.
 
Bar fullback cover and if the squad remains the same, I dont expect to see anymore first XI players being brought in at the moment. We appear to be doing things in phases to keep the books looking good with the FFP kicking in. Next summer when Giggs and Scholes are gone, thats when we will be free to bring in others.

We might sign some youth, but thats it.
 
We'll sign another 2 players.

No big names signings though.

CM and LB.

However by the looks of it, we may get another AMC who can play on the flanks. I hope not as we dont need that.

From what I have read Powell is more of a number 10. + I doubt that SAF will rely on a kid when he can still play Giggs/Scholes.
 
How would I feel? dissapointed but not surprised, even if we've only spent a very small amount so far so you'd hope there is a decent chunk of funds left for a CM and LB.

When there's speculation about player= Pointless tabloids making up stories in order to sell, I don't believe it, we'll not sign anyone.

When there's no speculation= No Speculation, we'll not sign anyone.

Well he's been told he'll be on the bench and if he impresses he'll be played just like Ronaldo was at his age. I cant see how thats going to work for him if he's the 3rd number 10 behind Rooney and Kagawa.

On top of that its been stated that the most impressive thing about him is his awareness. Thats from people who have worked with him, not just us who have watched his youtube and seen him smashing them in with either foot

And im not saying hed play instead of scholes or giggs im sure they'd still be prefered, im just saying that we can expect anderson and cleverley to be out at some point and powell may end up being the cover for one or both of them at that time. In other words, Sir Alex may still have faith in those two and with a contingency plan to cover for what happened with them this season, we may not see him sign another midfielder because then that issue is sorted
 
You'll probably get a CM and a youngish left back from left field. Someone no-one's ever heard of, a bit like Evra when you signed him. Everyone will be underwhelmed before he kicks a ball, then it'll all be fine.

Evra was a big component in Monaco's champions league run that season. You'd think an Arsenal fan would have been well aware of him. I think your manager would laugh at your statement anyway
 
The reason there's been lessened speculation is that the media has been focused on the euros and England. It's not just us, it's died down across the board somewhat.

Give it a while and we'll be linked with 30 different players again like every summer

Well I'd expect Wenger to know about him yes. I knew the name in passing, couldn't really give him a fair rating, like most people.
