AgreedIt makes more sense to move Pogba to the bench position.

I anticipate that this will be a popular thread but we have the Pogba conundrum with both of them in the middle of the park being too porous defensively. It's becoming more common for number 10s like Grealish and James to be put out wide, although he's a different type of 10 to them. His high turnover rate won't be as much of an issue out wide and he can still play to his strengths of linking round the box, crossing, taking set-piece and taking penalties. The other obvious bonus is playing Pogba further up and with less defensive responsibility along with addressing the hole on the right wing.
Something like
---------Fred--------Matic--------
Bruno----Pogba-----Rashford
---------------Marital----------------
No more changes to accommodate Pogba. What kind of 'worldclass' player can only play in one particular setup where everyone around him needs to cater to his mythical traits?
id like to see in the next match a 4-2-2-2 with a bit of fluidity in the front 4
----------------------Back 4-----------------------
------------------Fred-------Matic---------------
---------------Bruno-----------VDB--------------
--------Greenwood---------Rashford-------
With Martial/Cavani rotating at the front. Pogba and McTominay rotating in the middle
Telles getting space to get forward
Funny how Rashford is playing in everyone’s formation. He’s been terrible since the return from lockdown. If anything Bruno should be taking his place and allowing VdB to play centrally. Ole mentioned after the Brighton game that VdB could also play on the left so that’s an option too. Rashford needs to be dropped for a few games.
