The original Konix joystick was ace, you could stick it up you bum and everything. It's a disappointing aspect to modern game controllers than you can not so easily have sex with them.
Here is a question, I am currently in Europe and want to buy a console to take back home to India in summer. Mostly for cousins and waste time when I am there for couple of months.
But don't think they have Xbox live thingy in India or even PS live I think. So is it worth buying XBOX 360 or PS 3 ? We don't have HDTV as well.
I think the Wii could develop in that field.

I was thinking of getting a 360 at one point but I'll be damned if I'm forking out 80 euro a piece for the games!!
Absolute daylight robbery![]()
The noise really isn't really an issue, it isn't that bad.
Most of the consoles work properly, and if it breaks you can send it away to be repaired for free.
How's it a rip off? For what you're getting it's amazing, especially with the online play.
It's only crap if you don't like game consoles, which is fair enough. For people who do like them it's an amazing piece of equipment.
I've had mine 6months now and touch wood not had a problem, my discs are spot on the only one that has a circular mark on it is Rainbow 6 as my mate knocked the 360 while it was playing however it still plays perfectly.Well I have both and this is what think is a rip off about the 360.
I bought it at Christmas because the play station 3 wasn't out.
It puts small circular marks on the disks which cost 50 quid each and then they stop playing.I had it stood vertically.Microsoft said that these marks were made because the console was moving when the disk was being read.I laid the box down horizontally and bought another game.12 hours of play latter it stopped working because it has the same small circular marks. The games are being replaced and so is the xbox.
The play station games have worked fine since I bought it(to make up for the xbox being as my sons would say"crappy").
The guy who picked up my xbox to be taken away for repair told me he alone had taken 20 back. With this experience which would you recommend if asked on a thread on an internet site.
If you want to waste your money, go for it.
How about waiting a while and then getting a bit of superior hardware in the PS3 (in waiting a bit it will have a lot of new software - there is shit loads about to come out for it), and you get a Blu-Ray player into the bargain. You cannot say fairer than that.
people who have both(rich fecking bastards) say that xbox 360 is better?!?
agreed. But I'm still going to get one after the price goes down. It's worth it for the blu-ray playerYes, time will tell though but the 360 is the better machine at the moment.
Plus it has a far better games line-up then the ps3.
And at the end of the day, especially to weaste, you can't deny the ps3 is going to be the better hardware and have better capabilites etc, but if it doesn't have the better games then what's the fecking point?

ebay comes in handy
well basically blu-ray players play blu ray discs. Blu-ray discs have a 25 gb storage limit which means when it comes to movies, alot more detail and better quality and when it comes to games; better graphics, endless amounts of levels but the down side with it is that it has single layer protection whereas the dvd has double layer protection which means that even a few scratches can stop the blu-ray disc from workingWhat's this blu ray player about then? What's so special about it?
