I remembe being excited with us being linked with him when he was 15, just hope the hype doesn't get to him (Shoretire) as it has done for many.

If you look back at the youngest players to appear in the PL etc, it certainly isn’t a good gague for determining if a player will become top level.
Shola is in all the major newspapers today so I thought a thread was justified.
I think these players have much better support networks now at club and international level so they should get all the best information and guidance.

He is probably too good for that level but I think England won’t put players under the age of 15 in higher groups.
I thought he meant that playing shoretire was just a ploy to draw attention to our academy. So was more of a PR attempt. My question was if he really thought he didn't deserve a chance?

Some players have people around them who are more demanding then others who want to be looked after unfortunately.

I don't know, I do suspect United have poached him considering how good he is.
Probably due to their home move, it's pretty common for kids to move with their parents, changing academy is like changing school when they move to the different area.
