An attacker can just run at a defender and get a freekick. It's the same thing. Never liked it. If a defender stands their ground and you run into them, that shouldn't be a freekick/pen in my view.

I appreciate Croatia for making it so far twice in a row. But I agree with you. They don't even have players to counter, just sit back and hope for extra time and penalties. Don't want the same thing in the finals.
