Anders Lindegaard looks set to leave so I was thinking who would should be our second keeper

My choice is Lee Bum-Young

He's a tall keeper (6.6ft), at the right age (25) and had already proved his worth in the London Olympics. He would also allow us to tap the Asian market. What do you think about him?

Seriously I never saw him play but Id love to see someone with that name playing for United

Never heard of him. I don't think I want another Young in our squad though, let alone a Bum.

We're just getting around to getting rid of the bloody paedo chants...

Getting Bum-Young would be decent but a lack of experience could lead to problems.

Is there reputable evidence that Lindegaard is set to leave? I haven't seen him linked away with a move for quite a while now and offloading a competent back-up keeper just makes more unnecessary transfer business to address. I can't imagine a keeper of Lindegaards quality likes getting rare outings in the first team, but we should hold onto him at all costs.

Who cares about Lindegaard, what's your opinion on Bum-Young?

Of course not, this thread is just an excuse to say Bum-Young.

Would be interesting if you did sign him. You'd have a Bum-Young and a shit Young in the same side.

Isn't last names first in Korea? like Park Ji-Sung. I think the shirt would read "Lee" or "Lee B.Y." or something like that.

Lets say that Lindegaard does leave what are our prospects of getting Bum-Young. Do you warm to the idea of such prospect?

Bum Young wherever you maybe
You like to get it in Ashley
But we don't care it's OK
Just keep him busy so he can't play

I always wanted Kasper Schmeichel but he's established now so there's no chance of that.

Would prefer it to be Amos or Johnstone.

We need to sell Amos ASAP IMO, I really think he could play for England but he's now 24 and he really desperately needs regular first team football. If he can get it a a good level I still feel he can be top class but he can't afford to waste any more time at United bumming round the lower leagues and our reserves.

Ey at a Championship team that's just come up?! Doesn't that suggest he's making the right moves in his career, next step join a club like Villa, West Ham, Stoke last step United at 26?

Believe it or not but he's 27.

I don't think Lindegaard will leave.

If he did however, I'd rather we just promoted Johnstone and Amos.

A young bum is optimum, as he won't start much he'll probably mostly come here for the goalkeeper coaches, who are excellent of course.

Only a player with a firm, nubile behind would be interested in such an arrangement.
