No as like you they've only won 2 European Cups... you'll be able to tell us soon anyway as you appear to be heading in their direction. :)

I think it's actually because lots of part-time cnuts bought tickets and suddenly realise they need to wash their dog or something. Any wonder why Anfield is always empty? No. :)

if there any tickets left, they are either

- from the seats set aside for shareholders
- from the away fans allocation

or, of course, both

You seriously expect us to believe that LFC are telling people that the games are sold out when they are not? What complete nonsence.... did you see the attendance for last night? Hardly a full capacity was it?!

The bile and excuses coming out from the scousers due to their abysmal attendance records is unbelievable. They are top of the league and still cant be arsed to go to games.

Some come on resident scousers, how many games have you been to this season then?

(I await the answers with baitied breath... tho we must remember how hard it is to get through on ticketmaster)

"to date", you mean since you started supporting them when they won the F.A. cup?

The attendance of 37,000+ answers your question.

fecking muppets

softlad is trying to blame it on season ticket holders, u would think they would give their tickets away rather than let them go to waste wouldnt you?

anyway that excuse is bollocks, most of the empty seats are in block on the front rows (its on sky now) and towards the top left as u look at it, in the liverpool end there must be about 1500 empty seats in one block.

part time glory hunters managed to sell out for a midweek game against barca though

The commentator of Pool's game tried to justify it by saying that it was a long trip from London on a cold night what with the expense of xmas coming up. But what would Liverpool fans be doing in London anyway?

You can complain about ticket prices, midweek games, distances involved, near to chrimbo etc.

but one fact remains.....

If LFC were playing United last night the ground would have been full

For christ sake, LFC are top of the league, they have 'supporters' all over the world, millions of them yet they can't sell out their matches.

Pathetic IMO.

Sad really that this is all you can pull Liverpool up on.... how the 'mighty' have fallen....

They've even had to advertise in the Evening Standard in London to try and attract new support to games down there.

I feel they are fighting a losing battle.

Still it's much easier to watch it on the tv isn't it......

god it must be bad if they are top of the league, in the second round of the champions league, just been awarded team of the year by the bbc :D and the fans are fecking them off.

what would be happening if u were shit like the last decade?

Well, it's been your mantra over the last seasons to tell everyone how bad United's support is, whaddya expect...

You've long been clutching at the "prawn sarnies" straw. Been a some weeks since we've heard that one now...

this was posted by scouser somewhere

are they all fecking wankers or what?

The Mancs get 67000 every game because most of there support is from out of towners who have planned trips months in advance and unlike us they never have games rearranged and mess peoples plans up.

In fairness to the premise of this thread, I did see quite a few empty seats to Dudek's right during the 2nd half. Dunno if they were Liverpool or Fulham peeps supposed to be sitting there though.

I've not missed a home game in 4 years and only 4 away games in that time including Europe, and I'm what you mancers call an out off towner, how many of you tossers can claim that,if all you can do is winge about our attendance when we are so many points ahead of you, you really are muppets.
