Sashin Tendollka

The papers have been carrying loads of comments about the Tendulkar/Chappell situation and most in those comments have supported Chappell, surprisingly and rightly.
Not really, the players came out critisizing chappel. And IMO he came off like a bit of an idiot. He always had the right aim but his way of going about it wasnt the best. The whole media warefare he loves to wage is a bit pathetic.

He has a right to criticise players.

When I was referring to the comments, I meant comments of the public.

To be fair, if I was in his postion I'd kill any cameraman who tried to shove a camera in my face or any idiot they pick up from the street nowadays and give the tag of a 'journalist'.

I'm going to fecking change the media in this country.

How do you know? Do us, the public even have a clue about anything? Maybe he was just a really rubbish man manager, maybe he just divided the bunch, maybe noone could stand him or maybe the players just were the problem. None of us know. We can guess and form our own opinions.

You are? How so? But you're right they're a bunch of spastics. Still he was slimey in how he used the media to wage his battles all the time.

I said I read the opinions of the public on the papers

I said it from the perpective that if they did axe the senior players, doubt there'd be mass riots, contrary to popular belief

Ah ok. Today was interesting with all the suggestions made by the ex cricketers. Except the one about every player having to consult the bcci before getting into any more endorsment deals. Shastri's the manager for the Bangla tour for which there isnt a coach. I hope they dont make him manager eventually.

What would the BCCI do, can they tell the players to snub endorsements? Hardly does anything

The Bangladesh tour is just perfect really. They'll probably thump them bad and have the masses again in "World beaters India" mood

First off, sort the pitches out domestically. With all the money they have coming in, it beats me why they haven't been able to do so inspite of numerous press releases over the years that that's what they intended to focus on.

Sort the pitches out, get some carry to the fecking keeper and then you'll see bowlers want to hit the bloody deck. Fitness all around will improve. Both bowlers as well as batsmen who will want to and have to play off the back foot.

That will also help the spinners improve their variation in flight and work on getting some drift to induce batsmen. None of this hirwani, chauhan, harbhajan rubbish who do well only when there's a puff of dust on pitching.
