I think Tonali would prefer a move to Juve and that will prove to be decisive in the end. If Juve want him, then I see them getting him over a foreign club.
Khedira and Can will be getting moved on I would think.Juve are so stacked in midfield, it's crazy.. unless they dump 2 of the Can, Bentancur, Khedira trio.

Too bad there are no more rumors about him. He's a fantastic player. And he would be the first name on the teamsheet whenever available, would be great for his further progress.
Fair postTonali is a very talented playmaker, but i think that he wouldn't help Manchester United to regain its shine.
He is at his first year in Serie A, he still needs more experience in his country.
For an italian boy it isn't easy to settle in a foreign country with a differnt kind of football: look at Kean, he looked promising but leaved Italy too early and now he is struggling at Everton.
Why's that? Not arguing, just curious as to the reasoning. He’s the type of player we should be targeting, not so much Van De Beek in my opinion.

We should be targeting both.
We shouldn’t be targeting VDB at all in my opinion, I don’t think he’s all that, but if he were signed alongside a more conventional ‘midfielder’, I’d have less issue for sure.
We haven't been linked with him and we can't sign everyone anyways, plus I don't think he fits our squad. Really like him as a player though, hope he goes somewhere where he'll get playing timeFabrizio Romano says that Brescia will have to sell him in the summer and will not be able to command €50/€60m for him due to the current issues faced.
Romano thinks a offer of €30m will be enough to sign him.
If Newcastle are smart and run well with their new wealth, they could make some serious deals this summer (I'm sure they could offer some crazy money to players to convince them) and the likes of Tonali, Chiesa et al should be the type of signings they should be looking to make rather than the Bale and James types the press are linking them with.We haven't been linked with him and we can't sign everyone anyways, plus I don't think he fits our squad. We have been linked to him. Quite recently in fact.We haven't been linked with him and we can't sign everyone anyways, plus I don't think he fits our squad. Really like him as a player though, hope he goes somewhere where he'll get playing time
I think this could be the opportunity Ole was talking about when he said we need to be ready to 'exploit' if something comes up. Romano is saying he will be sold for €30m due to the financial constraints due to the pandemic.
We need a midfielder who can orchestrate from a deeper role IMO and Tonali looks a very good fit potentially and would be a better buy in comparison to Jack Grealish who would be a squad upgrade rather than a first 11 upgrade.
It will also depend on how Juve set their strategy in these difficult times. Will they see Tonali as someone they must sign? If they do, then I feel they have the upper hand.
Romano said earlier that Juve have been working on a deal for the past year to sign Federico Chiesa and also want to sign Pogba.Juve all over him..
Jesus, land of the CMs, that's another 3 to what they have. Insane considering they still have Ramsey on huge wages. From Romano’s interview, Juve basically want to sign Tonali, Pogba, Arthur and Chiesa. Probably more players will be mentioned too. Because, well, Italian football. Each team must add at least 7 players per window. No chance Juve land all of those though I suspect.

I don't watch Juve week to week so maybe I'm wrong, but based on probably 15-20 watches over the last couple years I'd love to see us sign Bentancur.
We did that Daniel James though. I also think it's more of a case of signing him because he's available. I mean in the end we're going to need a rotational AM so when one that matches Ole's criteria becomes available we would jump on it. Morever a rotational AM should be one of the priorities after RW and ST and we've already been linked strongly with Sancho for RW and gotten Ighalo on loan for STAgreed, the Grealish thing makes no sense for us, you can't start building your depth beofre you've sorted your first 11 unless you are willing to spend like 2009 Real Madrid. We have two good all round Jack of all trades CM's in Fred and McTominay, the kind of workhorse CM's most teams have, what we lack is a cultured CM that as you say can orchestrate from deep and get the ball through the lines regularly and accurately to the wide players and Bruno, Matic is the closest thing we have and he's not great, plus he's physically very limited and will be 32 when the season starts.

Romano also thinks he'll go to an Italian club like Juve or one of the Milans; because nearly all Italian players stay in Italy.Fabrizio Romano says that Brescia will have to sell him in the summer and will not be able to command €50/€60m for him due to the current issues faced.

Can has gone to DortmundJesus, land of the CMs, that's another 3 to what they have. Insane considering they still have Ramsey on huge wages.
So what CM do you have in mind?Daniel James only cost £15M and we got him in because we couldn't get Sancho done so we had the financial room to just add depth, Grealish will cost at least 3 times that and I think once we've laid down £120M for Sancho the priority neeeds to be a proper CM addition, not another AM when we'll still have Mata and Sancho could ease over into that role if needed and we could give Gomes some chances there. In my view Grealish should only be considered if he's in addition to Sancho, a CM and a back-up Striker.
