75 foreigners coming to the UK?They only allocate 75 tickets for international members, not like it's a massive thing
Disgraceful

50/50 ball and our keeper bodied Mullin which resulted in him puncturing his lung. My view is it's fair, it's a foul as Mullin gets the ball first but it's not malicious in any way.So what exactly happened?
So what exactly happened?
No more Scuba diving though. Can be painful but usually a couple months max recovery and not usually any long term complications to worry about
Some continually pissed up Wrexham fan who became internet famous for shouting at the match. He's like a local celebrity round here, he actually lives just round the corner from me, and he's got his own beer named after him. People go round calling him "Captain" and it's all so weird.Who?

My lung collapsed after an op to remove my gallbladder. I was in ICU for a week as my SATS were poor, but after that zero issues. That's pretty OK then. Sounded real ominous.

Just had the time to watch it on YouTube, definitely a foul, quite possibly a red, but Bishop wasn't pulling off a Schumacher trying to intentionally hurt Mullin.Bishop came out of the box and took out Paul Mullen and he had to receive oxygen on the field and was taken to the hospital. It would have been a red card had there been VAR or it not being a friendly. It was definitely a bad decision on Bishops part but things happen I don’t think he had any ill intentions.

He went viral last week as he got so drunk he ended up pissing himself and someone posted a picture of it.
How many posters knew what Wrexham was 18 months ago? Strange bunch.
Mickey Thomas' club.
Sorry - meant how many of those Wrexham "supporters" on whatever board those screenshots are from.
It seems you can't win as owner of a sports club if someone thinks like thatI just hate the way that they've made it all about them.
I'm just enjoying this moment right now where we all love them, because true to Caf tradition we'll be hating them within 12 months because they're popular.
I'll start; I'm getting tired of all of these Wrexham players having their own celeb duet tiktoks with Paul Rudd and Danny DeVito.
I like the 2 lads as actors but is anyone else sick to death of the circus they've created at Wrexham?
i watched the documentary and thought it was actually pretty outstanding with how they have embraced wrexham as a city and club and the people have embraced them.
the interview with Rob before the match was brilliant...just talking about why they chose Wrexham and how they stay the fuk out of the transfers and trust Phil to bring in the right players for what he wants to do footballing wise. They stick to making the club profitable marketing wise allowing them to financially run the club in a proper manner.
you can clearly see when they talk about the club and wrexham in general, it's now an obsession for them which should make any proper football fan happy to see

Seems like we need a whole new academy too!Nah, we just need a new U21 coach.
That team ended 9th out of 14 teams in Premier League 2. Let that sink in.

Not really, now the bad seasons would be chalked down to losing the guy who scored 47 times. Not yet but I'm here in CA. I think all the hoopla will end in the next season or two. Especially if they are finishing mid table.
Agreed completely. One could only imagineAgreed, we should be so lucky to have owners that care about the club and
community like they do.
They’ll learn, Reddit screenshots come from people cherry picking the worst comments. There’s 128 comments on the update. I can gaurantee if we buy Hojland and someone made that tackle and he punctured his lung this place would be on fire. The issue arises from the fact that most of their online presence now seems to be US residents (specifically) who haven't got a clue about football.. The Reddit screenshots more then prove the point. In a couple years time with more exposure I hope the football they get to watch enlightens them rather then them having an impact on the culture.
I think its okey for Parkinson to be angry - Mullin is head and shoulders the best player on that team, but given the amount of media focus the team has he should've had some actual
media training. A bit surprising as I found him likable in the documentary-series.
That's how they'll be able to grow quickly though. If they were silent non visible owners, I doubt we'd have seen the same success - they are very much part of the brand of the club.I just hate the way that they've made it all about them.
They are the brand, Wrexham is merely a vessel. For me it makes as much sense as Danny Dyer and Henry Cavill buying an NFL franchise. That's how they'll be able to grow quickly though. Getting into the PL will be difficult albeit not impossible but I reckon when we see this year's turnover in March/Apr they will be comparable to some Championship sides.
May have some restrictions on flying. So might be stuck in the US for a while. No more Scuba diving though.
Barely a few months have gone by and we’re there already
Classic caf. Nothing can be liked for too long before it becomes hated.
Quote by Wrexham manager Parkinson:
“It was a clumsy, reckless challenge in a preseason game and I’m not happy with it at all,” Parkinson said. “I haven’t seen the goalie and he’s probably best steering clear of us for the time being because we’re not very happy.”
What seems reckless to me is his statement.
Based on many of the tweets etc from Wrexham "fans" on here the celebrity chasing has already gotten to their heads, last thing we need is a manager issuing threats like that.
If you look at it objectively you’ll realise that for that collision to happen it only requires one of the players to be about 0.3 seconds late into the situation. For an experienced manager to go all out on a young player and basically accuse him of deliberately doing their player is incredibly poor form.50/50 ball and our keeper bodied Mullin which resulted in him puncturing his lung. My view is it's fair, it's a foul as Mullin gets the ball first but it's not malicious in any way.
What a stupid statement.Quote by Wrexham manager Parkinson:

What also makes it worse is that bishop doesn’t put his hands towards the ball. Idk sort of looks like a red
Yes but you won't be complaining if you're a Wrexham fan. In a fairytale word they take them into the Prem, in reality I reckon they will sell them as a solid Championship club. At least they care about the club and attend some games, more than most owners. They are the brand, Wrexham is merely a vessel. Like I said, must be great for the fans, just like it was for city fans when they were bought out. Not saying they're in anyway comparable to city's owners but I'm not basing my opinions on the fans of a club I don't support.Yes but you won't be complaining if you're a Wrexham fan.
