He did yeah.Did he do well at PSV? Assuming it's Ineos picking him that looks to me as like a bit of a fall back option too in case they're not happy with ETH and gives them a quick interim option that would go down well with the fans and demand the respect of the players.
This could very well be a pathway to manage United. Might be too good to turn down.Pleased with this to say the least, although I think he may fancy a managerial role elsewhere.
Thats not a hot take for me. Ruud was from a different planet just like Haaland was. Both superb in different ways.I have a hot take.
Ruud was a better forward than Haaland.
Haaland is faster, stronger, more physical, but has serious deficiencies in his technical ability, build up play, and even with all his physical abilities he still has problems playing with his back to goal.
Ruud was known for his goals but was an excellent technician too, his dribbling was fantastic, his passing up to scratch and could also hold up the ball incredibly well.
I would think he would be able to get a good job elsewhere in that case, which makes me wonder if he may be thinking about this as a potential route to landing the United job.He did yeah.

Didn't see that one coming.
I wonder what sort of role we want for him.
Doubt he'll accept it, though, if he's serious about his own managerial career.

I’d imagine he’d replace Mccarthy as an attacking coach. Be surprised if he takes that though considering he could become manager at other clubs. On the other hand though he could see it as a potential chance at becoming our manager one day.Didn't see that one coming.

He was insane. I’d also have RVP up there as one of the best finishers and he’s another I’d have on our coaching teamRuud was, the second best finisher I've ever seen. The best was another Dutch man ie Van Basten.
The rest (Inzaghi, Vieri, Haaland, Batistuta, Shearer etc) were very close but still inferior to the man.
