It is the right decision and most importantly it is proof that the new owners aren't completely spineless. And during his 4 games in charge; His attire and overall demeanour - felt like he's been rehearsing for this role the second he joined the coaching team in the summer.
It's was different when Giggs and Carrick took over as interim manager. Being at the clubs already for years, they were well-established figures within the club who most likely had realistic expectations of what was required off them during the brief spell they were in charge until a new manager was found.
