Very interesting how Japan often have wingers doing carries up the middle and Leitch hugging the touchline.
The rules should take into account the height of the ball carrier in relation to his height during the tackle. If a bloke drops to one knee as the tackler hits him it’s impossible for the tackler to readjust....his momentum won’t let himAgree with that - the arms were high though without the head I think he is fortunate not to get anything at all.

Maybe lucky from the point of view of consistency, but I think it's the right call.
I'm starting to worry that playing Japan in the QF may actually be more difficult than playing Ireland.
Depends on whether you believe Ireland have been keeping a lot in reserve for a potential QF. That's a longshot though.
Ya, also I think we're significantly better than Scotland, so I think in a close game Japan may lack the ability to deal with the pressure.Depends on whether you believe Ireland have been keeping a lot in reserve for a potential QF. That's a longshot though.
Keep hearing this and seems like such wishful thinking!
Oh yeah, it almost certainly is. Joe Schmidt would be the world's greatest poker player if it's actually true.
If they get the next try and convert it you never know.Consolation at best or a repeat of Twickenham
The pressure is just too much. They are more likely to concede [multiple] tries than score another one.
