Rugby Union 23/24 Discussion

not surprising. i remember being at twickenham for that australia game and i don’t think i’ve ever been as pissed off watching my team play, not withstanding current united.

Last week, I picked England to beat New Zealand by 9. I was nearly right about England winning but would have been wrong about the margin. I will double down and pick Ireland to beat New Zealand by 10 this time.

I lost £100 on Ireland the last time they played

looking forward to this. Don’t care who wins as long as we have a Mark Telea and a James Lowe try

Ireland defending well but NZ are looking very strong. They've brought alot of physicality

This generation are far to quite for my liking, they should be learning from POM and how sexton used to always be in there ear like they did from o Connell and o Driscoll
You wouldn’t have thought Owen Farrell’s dad would have stood for a quiet captain

I genuinely don’t know what they see in Henderson, 1st he’s past his best, his position should be for a younger player, 2nd he always looks like he’s just off a session, 3rd he’s average at best.

The starters weren't good but the subs have been absolutely terrible. Frawley, who I like, and Henderson have just made error after error.

Outrageous kick from Lowe, Ireland actually have a chance just from that

We are definitely a team in decline. Think we had our chance to potentially win a world cup with this squad of players but it's over now. NZ have played really well tonight and still a force to be reckoned with

the last WC was obviously a massive opportunity but I don’t think this team is necessarily finished yet. The next 6 nations will be telling though, I don’t know that you’re better than France now and England are a lot closer than they have been in years

England gave NZ a harder game. Granted it's the first game of the series but worrying signs from an Irish point of view tonight

Frawley had a bit of a mare when coming on. Credit to NZ not outstanding but ground it out. Irelands first home loss in over 3 years.
