These last 10 minutes have summed up both the teams . Wales very disciplined and doing all the right things while England just throwing games with silly errors

Even if you agree that Wales have been gifted 14 points, England's discipline (again!) has cost them. It's almost unbelievable a professional team keeps doing this.

How come Wales get a world cup every year but England only once in 4 years..... odd sport.

Wales have looked much better with Sheedy on and he’s 100% with his kicking. He surely has to start for the rest of the tournament now.

No arguing with that. Wales have been getting better since the second half against Scotland, but England's indiscipline was appalling.

Is there anyone better at beating England than England themselves? Wales have played well and not done much wrong. England have played well in spells and some loads of things wrong. I simply don’t understand how players can continue to give this many penalties away game after game.

Cheeky that Warburton says he's glad they've beat 15 players today.

Lovely gentle kicking motion, outside right post coming in. What got me was how calm he looked (in the circumstances). Impressive.

Think Biggar plays because of experience and Halfpenny being out (who'd kick). Be interesting to see who plays 10 when all fit.

nice of the BBC to take a moment to mention Wales in the post-match analysis

That woman (sorry, here name escapes me) conducting the interviews with the players on the BBC sounds fecking fuming, to be honest.

Sonja McLaughlan?

Rubbish interviewer. 4 interviews, all on one topic... thought Farrell was close to losing it. If he's got a cat at home, it'd better hide!

Great answer by Pivac "I thought one player getting 5 penalties was lucky not to get a yellow".

(Edit. 5 interviews now!)

The interviewer was trying their best to get Jones to say something controversial.

Yeah, Sonja, that's right.

Yeah, terrible interview. To be fair to Farrell he just wanted to move on and talk about something else.

I'm also pretty sure (could be wrong) she asked Alun Wyn does he think he should have got involved and had a word with the ref regarding Wales' first try to kind of say, "ah, come on ref, England wasn't ready there" As if it's his responsibility to possibly deny his own team from getting a try

I cannot understand for the life of me how Wales have 9 out of a possible 10 points so far. To the best of my knowledge, they had possession inside the Irish 22 three times last week; ended up getting 2 tries plus a penalty out of that. This week, they were in the Scottish 22 for something like 53 seconds but got 4 tries. Absolutely crazy stuff. Pivac's Scarlets were always good counter-punchers but that level of efficiency is completely and utter unsustainable. If O'Mahony and Fagerson had have cleaned out those rucks properly, Wales are 0/2 and Pivac is under major pressure. Just goes to show how random sports can be.
So now Wales have 14 out of 15 points and it's the same old story all over again. 6 trips to the 22 today, 40 points. No red card today, but England giving away stupid penalty after stupid penalty after stupid penalty. Wales are a better team that what they showed last year but that they will likely head to Saint-Denis in three weeks time one win away from a Grand Slam is more down to being a fluke than Wales being a particularly great team. Such a level of efficiency in attack, even for a side who are very effective counter-punchers, is nowhere near sustainable.

So you’re saying they’re out-performing their xT?

On those post match interviews (I haven't seen them).

I’m sorry she feels that way. But she gave the opportunity for Eddie Jones and Farrell to go off on one and they chose not to go there, she should have read and accepted that. Have just been reading a New Zealand sports forum and even on there people are wondering what the deal is with this interviewer.

England were better today but are grossly underperforming for the talent at their disposal. Not just talent in the squad but left at home.
Eddie Jones is under the microscope now. His decision to pick certain players, no matter how out of form they are, means he has to own this slump. I’d argue we’ve been poor pretty much since the Tuilagi injury, we’re desperate for his tackle-breaking ability particularly in situations we don’t have quick ball.
Discipline was atrocious and I don’t know why we haven’t a leader in that pack to get hold of them about the penalty count. Starting without a specialist ball-winning 7 cost us at the breakdown.
feck it I could go on but can’t be arsed. Congrats to Wales

I think modern Rugby is so much about penalties now that discipline has to be the most important thing . You can be as skilled as you like but if you are constantly chasing games because of your indiscipline then you won't win . Fact that this is happening week after week is really a poor look for the coaching staff and the culture they have created

Absolutely. And it’s all about the breakdown. If you’re not playing with a specialist 7 then you’re leaving more jackling for your locks and props....who inevitably give away more penalties doing it. Why oh why we have Earl sat on the sidelines and play Wilson for his size I’ll never know.

I didn't see the post match interviews today but I have been cringing at Sonja McLaughlan for years.

Obviously she doesn't deserve to be abused on twitter, but those idiots don't change the fact that she is an awful interviewer and has been for a long time.
