The Rugby game is more important and will likely be fun, two actually good teams that will try to score points.

I think the United game will be fun :)

I'd never get away with it anyway as I'd only be able to record the rugby, so my phone will be blowing up regardless of whichever way that match goes. It'll have to be United on the laptop and the rugby on the telly.

Italy getting robbed today. Awful refereeing.

Feck this ref.

Damon Murphy refereed the 2nd half of a super rugby trial I attended a super rugby trial a few weeks ago and it was so stop-start whereas the first half was well refereed. He's a poor ref who thinks the sound of his whistle is what people want to hear for 80 minutes.

I genuinely think Italy could have won yesterday if just two or three bad decisions went their way instead.

Hoping for a win but can’t see it as this Irish team is very good. Will gladly take a good performance and a losing bonus point minimum just to give us a chance of finishing 3rd and so called best of the rest.

Amazing how Scotland escaped giving away a try due to their own foul.

They have improved so much defensively, especially in their own 22.

What do you think about this thought that I had this morning? Ireland game is close to how NZ generally play, France looks a lot like the more open version of SA and Scotland plays like the old fast and creative version of Australia.

Not sure but I'd be sure that the Schmidt template still infuses the mentality of the team and that NZ would have been the gold standard for it. Be relentless with excellent fundamentals and ruthless when you have chances.

Really hope Ringrose is ok, looked awful. Otherwise absolutely brilliant 2nd half from Ireland with the injuries we had in the game. Also very impressed with how we managed to hold Scotland out in the half, great grit. Today showed a lot of good in this squad for dealing with adversity. Pity not to get the bonus point but really can't complain after such a great effort from the lads.

Edit - Mack Hansen was incredible. Him and Lowe have really grown into their roles in the team and are now getting over the line regularly, great stuff.

Pretty much the result I expected before kick off. Thought we done not too bad first half but just got blown away round the hour mark with the two quick fire tries for Ireland which pretty much saw the heads go down and the game well & truly over as a contest. I hope the Irish lad that took a very nasty one near the end is ok and it isn’t too serious despite the replay in slow motion showing otherwise. Accidental of course but not nice to see.

Onto our final game now and should hopefully get the win against Italy to seal 3rd place and the “best of the rest” tag as both the Irish & French are just levels above everyone else. Bit like the Scottish football league. Something I would have gladly taken before this championship.

*Australia's Mack Hansen

I think you'll find that you're quite wrong ;)
