Was at the game tonight. First half was total muck. Murray’s been a great servant but we’re twice the team without him than we are with him.

France didn't play well tonight but found the way the win. Even though we had a fantastic win over SA today, don't think we have any chance of beating France to the WC next year
Really?! Gibson Park has been excellent for us. A key part of some fantastic performances. Don’t see the logic in dropping him.
Seems like a really open world cup this time. I'd probably write off Wales and Australia. France and Ireland look very good. New Zealand seem beatable but not what they used to be. South Africa obviously a very good side but also beatable as proven tonight. England? Who knows tbh.
Yes really. He had a glacial start for us after he qualified. That time could have been used to bed in the other 9 like Cooney, Marmion, or Blade who were all playing much better than him.
Ifs, buts and maybes. End result has been some top class performances in a load of big games and historic results. So hindsight is on his side. Even tonight he turned the game round coming on off the bench. And tonight was another huge result to add to his resumé.
I don't think there are any maybes at all in those three performing better than him if they'd given the same chances as him.
Just seems a strange quibble when we’re currently number 1 in the world and he’s helped get us there by consistently putting in top class individual performances, for club and country.
Absolutely. The difference JGP made was incredible.
I'm just home from the game and roughly 150 pints. Lads you're mad giving out about that first half - it was an absolute war. That was world cup knockout levels of physicality and intensity. The pace of play in that first half hour in particular was unbelievable.
That we held our own and boxed clever up until the break, and then regrouped and thought out a way to get at them in that first 10 minutes after half time was hugely impressive for me.

The match between Wales and New Zealand seemed like an action replay of last year's game. Wales had a moment, here and a moment there but against an All Blacks side that still isn't a great one they still shipped 50 points in Cardiff.
I enjoyed the intensity of the Ireland vs South Africa match, particularly the first half. Ireland did well to get to half time at 6 all but they benefited from the Boks' tendency to make scoring tries look like hard work. You can also tell that the Boks have lost a match because the ''TS Analytics'' YouTube channel already has a video up forensically examining the performance of the referee at the Aviva Stadium.
I'm proud of the effort from the Wallabies but not the result in Paris. You can't be proud of losing. Do yourselves a favour and have a look at Lalakai Foketi's try. I have a bias but it's a contender for World Rugby try of the year. Sadly though, France's winning try came from an aimless kick by replacement flyhalf Reece Hodge and some very suspect defence. All in all, the Wallabies exceeded my expectations for their match against the 6Nations champions.

Thought we were defensively very solid in the first half and then pretty comfortable throughout the second.
That was my first time at the rugby and i really enjoyed it, Aviva is a cracking stadium
I don't think we (SA) are going to be up there when it comes to the World Cup. A good semi run is probably the best bet right now. I suppose can't be selfish considering we've won 3 world cups.
My under 14s lost 3-6, United lost….and eddies plodders find out….for the umpteenth time….that there is more to rugby than bashing away. What a fecking day of sport 
It's worked out great for Farrell, but there's every chance we could be better if we'd built on the form players who were all ahead of him at that time. And just like at 10, we haven't built any depth, just alienated the players next in line and it's inevitably going to hurt us at the WC.
It's also been bizarre that Casey has been occasionally put as next in line when he's been outplayed out the door by Cooney, Doak, Marmion and Blade.
