Painted the picture of a broken man after that horror show

Sums up the feeling of most fans tbh

He feels the way we all do. Utd to the core, unlike those at the club now.

Yeah I feel his pain. Tonight kinda felt like we'd hit our lowest, where the full gulf in class was there to see; encapsulating years of decline on our part. It's heart breaking to see what we've become, and how so many people have allowed us to slowly sink this far

Agree with Keane, I feel numb to it now. Absolutely no surprise that we got dominated and the players barely put up a fight.

Genuinely wouldn't care if we got rid of everyone except De Gea, Varane, Sancho, Elanga and Ronaldo. The rest I really couldn't give a damn about at this point.

Yeah that was just so sad today, to see that, just so deflating, You always think it can't get worse and it does, where does it end?

Man, I swear that I would kill just for United to give him an advisory position just like Paul Breitner has been keeping people honest at Bayern Munich for years.

No disrespect to Fergie, but he has to swallow his pride on that case. Let Keano back in the house as an enforcer.

Scrappy doo can stay as well.

We were the top dog when he was at the club. It will never be that way again and the club is coming to terms with it. There is no desire to fight for 4th place even when it’s all we have to play for.

Liverpool had that pride back in their darkest days, as we found out many times.

"we tried to give harry Maguire a bit of PR before the match. The last goal though, his defending not acceptable"

Did he just give away a skysports narrative

Keano summed up how we are all feeling perfectly there.

It's sad to see, and I think most (if not all) fans agree with him.

We need a plan, then we need people at all levels who know what they're doing, then we need everyone to buy into said plan. No point paying all of these players millions of pounds if they're going to check out mentally when on the pitch. They're not children. This is the highest level of sport. No more excuses.

Keane is clutching his right hand with his left. This is excruciating for him, agreeing with Souness.

Make Keano the number 2 to ETH.

I think he already is bringing his own assistant from Ajax.

Instead, Keane should be doing for us the kind of job that Paul Breitner has had for years at Bayern Munich as some kind of enforcer keeping people honest with his no-nonsense word in the media.

Keane should be at the club in some capacity.

Roy Keane shouldn’t even be allowed into the stands for free, he’s a complete dinosaur. His fake tough guy attitude worked in the 90’s, it’s not about this anymore. Both Liverpool and City are playing at the highest level ever seen in the Premier League, not many of their players are «tough guys», can’t think of a single one. They are however very good and schooled to the bone, unlike our players. Keane is clueless, he tried out as manager, failed spectacularly and has shown he does not get on with groups of people whom are not of similar ilk.

Can we not being him back in some capacity?

I know others don't like Rio, Evra or other ex players like that coming back but these guys are generally popular and know the club/will command instant respect. Also they are ones who wouldn't take shit in my opinion

To be honest, I am not ally against it but we don't just need good players, we need people at the club who knows what it's like to just be winners/right mindset. Currently at the club the players have nobody except Ronaldo

You clueless if you think Roy Keane wouldn't be a world class player in today's game.

With all due respect, that "fake tough guy attitude" still works in other sports and if you identify the right characters. Please watch rugby and ice hockey; there are tons of those in there. If anything, it's football as a whole that has gone soft while tough customers still exist in numbers in other disciplines. I would kill to bring more tough guys to root out your Pogbas and your Neymars, who are true diseases to the beautiful game at the moment. If you watch past matches, Keane mastered the midfield with pinpoint accuracy in his passes and ability to dictate the pace of the game. He would still do very well in today's game.

Keane should be doing for us what Breitner has done for so long at Bayern post-retirement. Someone out there has to act as the benchmarker of standards at the club. If it's not any of our former managers because they're enjoying retirement, it has to be a former player who was known for leading men to war.

Could do a lot worse than bringing Keane back into the fold. I’m not one for a job for the boys but feck me, he knows what it’s like to play for this club & the demands required…

Wow that's pretty disrespectful to one of your greatest ever players
