Have you seen Ronaldinho's goal and passings against Marseille today?

Pure brillance!!! Even if his price exceeds the £20M, if I were SAF I'd go for him. This guy is genius, respect... :cool:

If we were gonna spend on a Ronnie we should have got the real one Ronaldo. Anyone that saw his demolition of Alaves will know that he's back. No-one in the world touches him when he's like that.

I would have said Ronnie was much more hit and miss than Djbrill formwise. Cisse has had a lot of injury problems this season which explains why he hasn't been as brilliant this year.
Ronnie on the other hand has pissed of his manager, some of his teammates, gone on temporary strike...
I would argue that Cisse is the better professional. I think Ronnie is a great player and i would be happy if we signed him, but he will need a great manager as well.

I was just being sarcastic, since there is so many people who like cisse better thanj ronny, won't mention any names though (raoul) ;)

wouldn't mind either of them coming, but i'd certainly prefer ronny since he can drible and make space and is probably as fast as cisse.

But Fergie can be a bit schizophrenic about this type of player. Cantona and Keane got out of jail a couple of times. Yorkie, Sharpe, Kanchelskis, McGrath on the other hand...
I don't think Fergie approves of some of Beckhams lifestyle choices and Ronaldinho is much more extrovert.

OMG, He is the probably the most talented player in the world. You should see the finish on his goal :)

And the assist took the piss... should've been his goal anyway seeming it was going to roll across the line.

I pray to God we get Ronnie, then we will have pace upfront....atlast

It's true and well known, and it's the cause of his problems with Luis Fernandez.

Fernandez : "if he had played like that every week Paris would be at the top of the league".

Cisse likes fashion, but he has a stable family life, he's the father of a little girl, and with Guy Roux, his manager, this kind of lifestyle would be impossible. He's the kind of manager who goes in Auxerre nightclubs to check if his players are not there. Cisse is a striker, Ronaldinho is more a playmaker, a creator. Both are great IMO. I just mentioned Ronaldinho lifestyle, because it could be a problem with Fergie, but I don't deny his talent.

Cisse was great last year (best scorer of the French League). This year, he has been injured and hasn't found again his best level, but you can't say he was shite. Henry and Trezeguet had difficult times at the end in Monaco (for other reasons) and rebounded abroad with the success we know. I still think Cisse would be a huge success in England.

This year Cisse has 12 goals from 23 games despite injury problems.
Last year 22 goals from 29 appearances.
No problems there.

Back to Ronaldinho, despite what i said, i think Fergie is actually more likely to buy him than Cisse. All those quotes in the summer about wanting to buy a certain player but the club refusing to sell becoz they thought the World Cup would interest a few more buyers. This was supposed to be Ronaldinho according to people in the know.

I want to have Cisse at the club, but i think if we are going to buy another striker, we will get Defoe\Gudjohson instead. Ronnie is in a seperate category.

So Cisse, if he goes, could leave Auxerre (and I'm not against the idea of Cisse staying in France, the French League needs some great players...) to join Arsenal or Liverpool ? It would be a crime !

One great game and Ronaldinho's the future once more.

How many matches like that did he have this season?
 
I could see Ronaldinho being a great asset in CL (4-4-1-1) behind RVN.

For the run of the mill PL Cisse would thrive, either with RVN or in place of him.

But Ronaldinho would not give cover for RVN- most would agree we need cover(Ole and Diego are not) for RVN, unlike Cisse who is a big athletic forward who can bring the ball down and hold it up.

Now if we had both...but thats unrealistic so if its an either or, then -Cisse.
