Good luck with that.
Fred will break Ronaldo's spirit mate.
Yeah, that's one of the things I'm really looking forward to seeing.Obviously he won't!
But its interesting to see who he can chase down on the all time list.
20 goals would be a really poor return.I’ll be impressed if he scores more than 20 goals this season, at that rate it’s 6 years, so no.
I don’t think you realize who we have signed.I’ll be impressed if he scores more than 20 goals this season, at that rate it’s 6 years, so no.
Since 2010 Ronaldo has scored more than twice as many club goals than Rooney achieved in his 13 season at Man United.Did I finally get my time machine to work and this is 2010?
Even if he had come back after Madrid he would have done it or at least very close to beating the record by now.He probably would have tripled it if he never left
34 actuallyRonaldo would need to score nearly 40 goals a season for 4 seasons in a row. I don't see that happening.
Yes, in his prime he was an absolute monster. We have to see how he deals with the change of pace from Serie A to now, but you're asking for a tremendous return in 3-4 years from a player who is going to keep declining every season, even if marginally. I think others have pointed out how it's really unreasonable to expect that, and I have to agree with them.Since 2010 Ronaldo has scored more than twice as many club goals than Rooney achieved in his 13 season at Man United.
He only has to score just over 25% of that again to overtake Rooney.
Now you have said that, it’s sounds likely he could. I mean, I could eaily see him scoring past 27 goals per season over 5 years. No he won't. He's 135 goals away.
Hell need to get about 27 goals per season over 5 years to beat it. If it's in 4 years, about 34 goals a season. 3 years is 45 goals a season. I doubt he'll play more than 3 years at this level and for us... so I'm pretty sure he's not getting the record and scoring 45 goals per season
if he doesn't score more than 3 you mean right? It’ll be interesting to see the comments on here if he doesn’t score on Saturday
There, I said it.
If he plays for 5 seasons and his physicality doesn't drop, I guess it's possible. But I don't think he will stay that longNow you have said that, it’s sounds likely he could. I mean, I could eaily see him scoring past 27 goals per season over 5 years.
This. Even if he can play at the highest level for that long he won’t stay here for all of it.If he plays for 5 seasons and his physicality doesn't drop, I guess it's possible. But I don't think he will stay that long
I hate threads like this

Yeah, Zlatan got more and I'd definitely rate 36 year old Ronaldo much higher than 36 year old Zlatan.20 goals would be a really poor return.
If he can catch Ruud this season that would be world class for me, he's on 150 (so 32 goals across comps)
No he won't. He's 135 goals away.

I think he has a chance at 100 goals for us, assuming we and he takes up the option of the third season. I think 135 goals is out of his reach though, simply because there are far too many games over a season where we dont create a lot of chances.

He’s going over Ole this month for sure
It just takes 45 goals a season per 3 seasons. Certainly it is within reach - he had 6 seasons in a row with 50+ goals during his Real tenureHe’s 136 goals away. He’s 36. No chance.
