What does this even mean? It's straight from the Jordan Peterson playbook of saying lots without saying anything at all.

'Heat of the moment' ? Your team's just walloped a rival 2-0 and you refused to come on you egotistical jackass.

Absolutely, but he’s rich beyond his wildest dreams already & you’d imagine playing time, happiness & “legacy” is gonna much more important to him now at this stage in his career.
Yeah, I just can't see Mendes doing a deal that doesn't favour him financially. It's surely why he didn't go in the summer.

May be this is all a ploy. He knows he won't start at Chelsea and he is all set to come back midweek to start against the mighty EL opponents.

It’s a fluff piece to get people on his side. Like some have said, he’ll need to actually play some football to still maintain starter status for the WC. Jota being out is a big plus for him but Portugal still have other talented forwards

But come on man, he started really young. And he’s always been super professional, except when he’s skipping games to get a penis enlargement. It’s like you want him to held accountable to the same standards as every other member of the squad and buy into the team ethic. If we start doing that, where will this madness end?

Extremely disappointed with Ronaldo. That decision to axe him was the right thing to do. I support Erik Ten Hag on this as we are now seeing what this team is capable of with serious coaching. If you as a player can't at least make it appear like you're a true professional, you don't deserve to be in the match squad.

That being said, it also hurts me to think that United is perhaps the only club willing to put one GOAT back in his place while the other one in Paris has not taken any action against public acts of petulance by the other GOAT.

Judging by the reaction of this forum and social media, you'd think he had just committed a war crime. Everyone getting their knickers in a twist.

He would have never done that if we were 2 nil down. His ego simply can't handle us winning without him.

In a footballing context it's very shitty and unprofessional behavior and he deserves the criticism he's getting and a massive boot up the hole.

But yeah, obviously in the bigger picture that is life he didn't commit a war crime or anything. I would think that goes without saying.

yeah. agree. i don’t think he does it if we’re 3-0 up and he’s scored a hat trick, either.

He is a massive piece of shit both in his personal and professional life. His behaviour all season has been up there with the worst of any footballer. He can do one.

your name would be quite apt for him both as a footballer and person, actually.
