Ronaldo as player-manager?

Unless we get Zidane, there aren't many options who'd not play him 90min every game after Sir Alex's comment against Everton.
There is no way he plays 90 mins every game under an ambition manager. He needs to realize that he is 37 years old, has the worst pressing record in the league, and has competition for places in the form of Rashford, Greenwood, and Cavani.

He should not going to play every match and any successful manager should be able to set those expectations. Not Ole obviously.

Absolutely ridiculous suggestion having a player manager. This is Manchester United, not a Salford dads pub team.

Admittedly there's a lot to admire about Ronaldo, and there's definitely certain qualities that could mean he becomes a good manager, but this is a crazy suggestion imo.

His previous 2-3 managers have rotated him, so obviously he can be rotated. But it shouldn’t be up to him to rotate himself, but a competent manager to do so

Ronaldo still doesn't realise how to press effectively himself, never mind get a team to do it effectively.

Let us stop creating meaningless forum threads. This is a diabolical idea.

THis thread has to be a joke. Here's a suggestion. Firstly sort out the football structure, sack Woodward and ARnold. Make VDS the CEO and bring in a proven DOF. Then find the best manager they can. Not another pathetic fan pleasing fix.

There are existing threads on temporary replacements and permanent replacements for Ole.
