No question in my mind. Spurs did their Nike kit launch with a grime soundtrack, Stormzy was all over the Pogba transfer - Lukaku fits the profile for how football is increasingly marketing itself. He's cooler.

So no the fee could pass the Pogba fee in pounds in a few years but the pound is too weak against the euro for it to be considered a world record.
I must admit I never saw him as a bully. He's a big striker who scored 32 goals in 42 games last season including internationals. That will do for me.

I think this is mainly down to the gigantic commercial/image gap between United and Spurs, not really about the players. Should Kane sign for us, I'd say he would be a part of much more professional and marketable campaign.
To be honest I have no idea who is cooler, but I still think that if it was Kane who was signed for this obscene money he'd but at least as good of a marketing prospect, we would be talking about the most expensive British player in history and arguably the most exciting English talent in quite a few years. Kane was also quite a figure for FIFA17 and England is much larger market than Belgium... Seems very marketable to me and I can imagine his United shirts would be rather easy to sell
