Romelu Lukaku | Chelsea

Is always out for himself and his weak mentality just shines through as soon as there’s any negativity around his form. Welcome back to the Lukaku show Chelsea fans, he’ll get a good but unspectacular amount of goals whilst acting like he’s peak Lewandowski and pointing on the pitch like it’s going out of fashion.

Just look at the number of clubs he's been at in a short space of time. When he signed he said he loves Chelsea, if he loves them that much then why did he turn them down for us a few years back?

He'll do two years at Chelsea and will either be back in Italy or go to Spain.

Werner is an excellent finisher and has great off the ball movement. He was exceptional in RB Leipzig. Once settled he will be a 20+ goal a league season forward.
Meanwhile it’s Rashford’s sixth season at United and he never scored close to 20 goals in the league and he never will.

At the rate he is going, he will be lucky to score 20 league goals in total for Chelsea.

Except that season he scored 17 in the league while injured…

Is Lukaku FC a thing on twitter? Imagine being a fanboy of this bloke, he's such a baby.

Theres quite a lot in the media who make out he’s a cross between Pele, Baggio, Ronaldo and Einstein. Always on about how amazing he was for Inter and how “intelligent“ he is. The Athletic, in particular, is the worst for it. It‘s hard to think of a more overrated player.

What is all this shit he's spouting? Seemingly came out of nowhere or has he fallen out with Tuchel already?

Plenty of my mates were of the same opinion when he came back. I got absolutely slated for saying he was a spoofer.

I'd like to say I'm not proud of how smug I've been with them today. But I am.

Yawn non story, 3 weeks ago Lukaku wasn't playing, was dropped for tactical reasons. No surprise he's not happy about it. Should he come out in an interview and say so? No..., though it was obvious anyway. He's joined us expecting to be the main man for €100m and then found himself dropped. Tuchel and the club can't actually be surprised he wants to play though...

He's actually starting again now anyway... and I expect he'll apologise for public talk and will play on Sunday.

It’s not that he’s really BAD, he‘s just not that good and it should be pretty obvious. People point at his Belgium and Inter records, but they just show that he’s clearly a level down from being a top Champions League / World Class player. Chelsea had already had him twice and hadn’t been impressed. He showed how low his level can be at United after that. I can’t see why they went back there for 100 million. If he plays lots, he’ll score but I don’t see him ever winning over the Chelsea fans. He’s pretty horrible to watch at times and then there’s the fact he’s an insufferable c*** on top of that…

Funny that he didn't like our chant considering he IS the biggest dick in football right now.

Interested to know. Are you glad to have him back (for his third stint)?

I always said he'd score plenty of goals against the weaker sides, but that he'd go missing when you really needed him.

That and the fact he's an absolute softcock. He'll head back to Inter for the easier life in the summer, but it's a different setup now to how it was under Conte. Give him 6 months and he'll be whinging there too.

He's equal parts thin skinned, delusions of grandeur and thick as two short planks. Those aren't the 3 overriding qualities you want in a £100m centre forward.

Might be a touch sensationalized but not exactly a non story. The stuff about Tuchel changing the system is ill advised as Rom is not the coach and needs to stay in his lane but the part of the interview that is really dumb is him gushing about his love for Inter and his desire to return whilst he is still in his prime. Considering he is 28 he is clearly talking about the relatively near future and frankly less than 6 months after signing for a record fee he is crapping all over Chelsea with those comments. Truth is, Serie A is declining and he actually managed to look like a top 5 striker playing for Inter but back in the PL he is finding that he is still some way short of the level of the best strikers and his ego is not handling it very well. We endured it here at United and Chelsea are now getting a taste of the real Lukaku.

Same here, most people seemed to be of the opinion it would make them favourites for some weird reason. I guess they must've forgotten his time here.

So many modern players are just some social media narcissistic primadonnas.

Q: Lautaro?
A: I could die for him, I miss Lauti
Q:Together at Chelsea?
A: No he can stay there, I’m going back to Inter

:lol::lol:

Even the Chelsea fans that were hoping he could contribute have pretty much said feck him.

I'd usually enjoy this sort of drama happening to Chelsea but those comments are just downright disrespectful.

It would be funny if, after retirement, the club Rom made most appearances for, turned out to be Everton.

No he should knuckle down, fight for his place and make himself undroppable, the same way the guy he claims to idolize did time and time again. The silver spoon is earned not handed out.

As a player and the fan he claims to be he should have been delighted we were on such good form as we were at the time (and determined to be a part of it), instead he seemed pissed we weren't making it all about him (maybe he knew deep down he wasn't technically good enough to be part of the wonderful football we were playing vs Leicester, Juve, Burnley etc...)

And he can't get the benefit of the doubt because he's got form for this, this is a guy who thought competiting for a spot with prime Diego Costa at age 20 was beneath him.

He has knuckled down and got his place back though?

The quotes were taken out of context, if you read on he actually says he's not happy about it but he's a worker and won't give up!!
Which is what he's done!!
