I doubt the Saudi deal happens tbh, unless they can quickly prove no link to the Saudi govt

Even if Boehly, Wyss and Goldstein took over, on paper we'd still be a richer club, as you have 3 wealths combined; although Goldstein's is still unknown fully but his company have assets totalling 8bn, its about whether theyd put as much in as RA did. Which is unlikely
 
Rumour about a lady who came into put a bid for chelsea. That's quite interesting.

Liverpool and Chelsea have quite a surprising hatred towards each other.
Seems to largely be based on those few years they kept playing each other late on in Europe.

You could say he's spitting facts.

But he's just described the way every club in existence operates in terms of poaching other teams' players and coaches. Hardly unique to Chelsea. I understand where his rant is coming from. Chelsea fans have been giving it to him ever since he published that Tuchel to United opinion piece and he wanted to use his platform to clap back, fair enough, but it is just a rant though.

Can carragher explained how it's unfair he is still in job and spitting on cameras and fellow guest while talking, even after he was spitting on young girl.

He is almost behaved like a cheer leader for Liverpool week in week out whenever they plays and how it's unfair to other team fans that he commentate when Liverpool plays. Hypocrite.

If you give then you have to take. You will never welcome anymore at Stamford bridge.

You never know though.
Glazers or Kroenkes aren't really poor, they are just relatively stingy.
RA was really invested in the football - with all the positive and negative side effects - most other owners will not be like that, regardless of how rich they are.
 
The chances of them getting another owner like Abramovich are very very slim.

Abramovich was willing to pump endless money into the club because he didn't care about making money, he bought Chelsea for political reasons so making a profit wasn't a concern. It doesn't really matter how loaded owners are, it's about how much they're willing to blow on the club and you're going to struggle to find someone as willing as Abramovich was.

I don't think Chelsea will end up with someone like Mike Ashley or The Glazers sadly, but I also don't think they'll end up with someone as willing to bankroll them completely as Abramovich did.
 
Great stuff from Carragher, reminded me of that Clough quote when he first met the Leeds players about taking all your medals and putting them in the bin cause you didn’t win any of them fairly

Unless the Saudis take over, the Chelsea we've known for the last 20 years is likely gone. Every other potential owner group will likely run the club like a normal club, which would put us on par with Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool without Klopp.
 
Wow from bad to worse for Chelsea of they are getting sold to he Saudis. I'm sure their fanbase will love it though

His entire wealth appears to be based on fraud and criminal activities. The links with the Kremlin are pretty obvious (both Yeltsin and Putin).

This whole farce is a disgrace. Who killed the most, Blair/Bush/Obama or Putin? Who is the worst Russia or Saudi? There are bad people all over the planet, we can’t choose our favourite bad people, we have to make sure only good people prosper.

I didn't say roman not a bad person. He may be or he may be not. I will believe how bad he is when I see evidence. I am just uncomfortable to believe anything without any evidence.

And the fact Carragher always resented the fact we nearly signed Gerrard, and Stevie G wanted to join us. We had the deal done 99% of it, until their fans threatened his family

It's time all this oil and state owned nonsense was put to bed. It's not been good for football at all. It's absolutely ridiculous. Chelsea and City have dominated the English game for last 12 years and it's blatantly obvious why they have.
