Roland Garros 2009

I might start exclusively betting on backing Rafa and Murray when they're a break down or a few breaks down! They always come back and grind out the set as their opponents choke.

Murrays looking good so far, some of the shots he played yesterday were amazing. Those tricky little diagonal dinks across the net right on the lines. The bastard!

What happened there then!? Massive shock that, Nani Nana won't be happy.

Fed wins second set 6-1 in 25 mins, looks to have got in the groove now.

Serena looks to be scraping through again too.

Federer doesn't have a hope in hell of beating beating Nadal (if they both get that far) playing like this-though it's arguable that even at his best, he doesn't have a hope against him at the French.

Well no one has for me, although Nadal hasn't looked all that great this RG, he does what is needed.

Fed 2-1 up against PHM now.

What a disaster for Djokovic. He looked exhausted on the court. He will probably not see the podium for an entire year now.

Nadal, have fun.

Murray wins the first 7-5. Cilic won't be able to hurt him often enough to push him close.

Murray wins the second 7-6. Cilic is having to go for an awful lot just to (almost) keep up with him. This will be over in three...

Nadal beat Soderling 6-1 6-0 in Rome a couple of weeks ago, madness.

Can't find a stream for it either, hope Murray bagels Cillit Bang so they switch coverage quick.

He's up a break in the 2nd set now Rafa. 3-2. Looks to me like he'll grind out a victory.

Is the tennis on anywhere in the UK?

Thought it was on Eurosport.

I am not one to usually care about stuff like what the players are wearing.

However, Nadal looks like he tripped and fell into one of the Williams sisters wardrobes today.

He does like like a battenburg...

On BBC interactive now.

Anyone remember this?

Nice bit of handbags to add to the spice.

Robbie breaks back, now 5-5, loving this match.

So is everyone else left in the draw.

Nadal takes the tiebreak 7-2 i think. Key moment was 6-5 30-15 Soderling, seemed to self destruct after that.

Would expect an easy 2 sets for Nadal now.

Although, if he can think back to that video I posted ^^ He was 2 sets down in that match to come back and take it to a 5th. Bit different 2 years on and at RG though.

Nadal will hang in there long enough for Soderling to dip. And I'd fancy him to take advantage when he does.

Man respect to Soderling I didn't think he had it in him, thought his head would drop for sure.

I'd back Nadal 2 sets and a break down though so it's going to be really interesting!
