Doubt he is as good as Fernandinho but age is on his side.

I’ll lock it when it’s confirmed that he has signed for them. All the news at the moment say that City have/will meet the release clause. It doesn’t say anything about him passing a medical and signing personal terms. Once that happens THEN thread is locked. Until then someone else may meet the release clause too
Atletico Madrid have confirmed the deal to City pending a medical.

Think Madrid already confirmed that his clause is paid. This is done.
Completely missed my main point, he has not been confirmed as signed to City yet. All it says is that release clause has been met or will be met depending on which reports you read. That’s not the same as confirmation from city that he’s signed a contract

What i heard is, he is more like Busquets (short-passes, positioning) than Alonso (wider-range, robust). Definitely not like Fernandinho, Kante or Casemiro. Looks like Pep is trying to bring his style (back) to the maximal possible (Barcas Prime under Pep).

Fair enough. It will be done soon probably.

Busquets mk II. Excellent signing for City who will thrive under Guardiola, unfortunately.

The Daniel James thread was closed before he passed a medical. So it seems there isn't any consistency.
