Robin Hood AKA Gladiator 2

Seems you've watched an awful lot of Costner films for someone who slates him so Wibble :smirk:

A case of being in denial and protesting too much methinks!

I watch a huge number of films. Much of the time I do wonder why.

That said nothing Costner has ever done has been anywhere near as bad as The Loss of Sexual Innocence. A decade later I am still getting the piss taken out of me for renting it. The sort of film that makes you want to stab your eyes out to make it stop.

I enjoyed Dances with Wolves

Also Wyatt Earp, A perfect world, Tin Cup, For love of the Game, 3000 miles to Graceland

Yeah I lke Tin Cup. Dances With Wolves is alright too.

Watch this become a Kevin Costner appreciation thread.

He really is rubbish though. At least other actors with as little talent like Schwarzenegger didn't pretend to be anything other than crowd pleasers. Costner seemed to believe his own hype. Was he even tolerable in any film? RHPOT was truly terrible. Dance with Wolves was embarrassingly bad. And Water World

Jesus man, Dances with Wolves was pretty good in my opinion. Its not a flick that you can watch over again, but when it first came out it was a good film!

He was good in The Untouchables & A Perfect World to name but a few.

His performance in The Bodyguard was acting of epic proportions too :wenger:

Its that bad man - class, i'll look out for it :)

Love watching the odd shit flick - makes you really appreciate a decent one & plus, you can laugh with a huge element of cringe & then burn the dvd afterwards!

Well, there is no historical accuracy with Robin Hood, you could make a gay porn film of him and his merry men gangbanging friar tuck, and it would have as much historical accuracy as any other film made about him/it.

Sorry when is this one coming out did you say?

That is funny for other, very ironic, reasons.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this trailer is 6-12 months after its general release, there will be one of those special inspirational poems written by one of the scousers over at RAWK that will have a line from this movie... like the one of Rafa in the centre circle shouting "are you not entertained" while the crowd shouts "spaniard spaniard" or like from braveheart or Aragon in LOTR.... I guarantee it, I will be bumping this tread when this happens

Shhh, don't put a hole in my argument! I grew up watching the Kevin Costner Robin Hood, I remember when my dad bought it for me and my sister on VHS. We must have watched that film at least 30 times. My poor dad

Actually, he probably enjoyed every second of it, considering the circumstances.

And Costner could pretty much do Martin Lawrence movies the rest of his natural life and he'd still get a pass for Field of Dreams.
