They just said on Danish TV3+ that he has already signed with Bayern. They didn't say where they got the info though.

Reports of the deal were out months ago. No official confirmation yet.

But its a bit like the Neuer deal. I think everyone knows where he's going.

Big rumours been going around for a couple of weeks that he's already joining Bayern. If they weren't already brilliant imagine Lewandowski and Goetze added in next season :S

Well Linekar says Lewandowski's agent has already said the deal to Bayern is done and dusted. I am scared of this Bayern team whether they do get Lewandowski or not.

Lewandowski/Manduzic/Gomez

Ribery/Robben-------Götze/Kroos-------Muller/Shaqiri

Gustavo/Schweinsteger-------Martinez

Alaba------Dante/Boateng-------Badstuber/Van Buyten-------Lahm

Neuer

Well the reports were that we had agreed a deal for him long before Bayern. So we'd best wait till theres something seemingly official

Today's game changed nothing really. We all know he's brilliant and has had a wonderful season but I still can't see us really desperately going for him when we've got 4 strikers on our books.

Why is he supposed to be leaving anyway? It seems ridiculous that Dortmund are going to lose players of the quality of Goetze and Lewandowski to their closest rivals. As a football fan, I feel like this irks me a little.

But they are not at the same level as us, Madrid or Barca.

Bayern doing early business for Gotze and Lewi. We did the same, only for Zaha!

Bit depressing isn't it transfer wise sometimes... The German champions sign players off their title rivals and we sign players from the lower league. Still early days and Van Persie was magic. #20

Would love us to go out a buy a big one this year.

Van persie was a big one.

Hell of a performance, his first goal was a classic poachers goal, his second was a case of being alert while everyone else was looking at the linesman combined with a neat turn and finish, and the third goal was just sublime technique, then he sticks a pen away with brute force to finish of an incredible display. Whichever team gets him will be improved.

We just signed of the best players in Bundesliga and the best player in Premier League. The value of the last year's transfer window has been underestimated, we've made the best signings of all European clubs even if we failed to address the main issue within the squad.

He was right about that one.

Bayern aren't the same level. They are better.

Yep. Dortmund too.

Both Ze Germans clubs are this year comfortably the best teams in Europe. And the scary thing is that with Gotze and Lewa, Bayern will be even better next season.

It's really not. It's a depressing situation for a league when you can buy two of your main rivals players fairly easily and they will happily leave.

He'd be back in Poland playing for Jagiellonia Białystok if he had gone to Allardyce's Blackburn. Plenty of teams were in for him when he was on the move in 2010 but two favourites were Napoli and Dortmund. He prefered Dortmund because he felt they were more modern with their stadium and training facilities. It was a great choice, he has improved a lot as a player there.

Napoli did a good piece of business with Cavani as well.

It's not that they will happily leave but if one club can offer twice or three times as much money as everyone else most will probably follow the money, it's a job for them after all.

But you are of course right it's a bit of asad state that Bayern are so much more financially potent than anyone else in the league, there are teams with potential to grow, Dortmund being the main one, but they need to sustain it over a decade to have a chance to catch up to Bayern.

In England it's of course a bit different and 4-6 clubs can pay pretty much top wages but let's not forget that is mainly due to a much better TV deal than the Bundesliga has and some billionaires money.

Where would people rate Lewandowski now compared to our strikers then?

Fair fecking fecks to him for what he did to Madrid. He really is one of the very best strikers around.

He's difinitely better than any strikers in Bayern. So there's place for him there. Whereas in ours, van Persie is number one.

But the thing they also have four strikers as of now and we have four strikers, but technically only two play up top. They still have Gomez, Manduzic and Pizzaro. Our two strikers in Welbeck and Rooney are more versatile and play AM majority of the time. So he could get playing time here as well.

I would love him but lets face it we really don't need him at all unless Rooney and Hernandez decide its time to move on. This summer needs to be spent investing in top quality midfielders because its where we will really notice the difference next year

He could?

He'd start here and be first pick alongside RVP.

He'd allow us to play more like Dortmund with forward players coming to support a main striker. Van Persie links up well but even he wouldnt slot right into Dortmund's team and fit in as well and obviously Falcao and Cavani even less so as their linkup play isnt on Van Persie's level.

Theres obviously more space for him at Bayern, but we rarely get the chance to sign a player of his level and if we realistically want to win the champions league again we need more quality players to come in. With Rooney going to a deeper role there would be room enough.
