Robert Lewandowski | Ballbag: 'United and Chelsea have spoken to representatives'

Sky and Ballbag have embarrassed themselves once again.

Not saying it is, but the sole notion that 'oh jesus let's not chase him because that slows the morata process down!!1' sounds so fecking ridiculous. How does talking to Kucharski and that other agent slow or affect us to Morata?

I never said that it did. Calm down, it's silly season, don't get so emotionally invested in obvious non-stories.

Love how direct Bayern are  wish United were a little more transparent on these things. We have so many opportunities to make shit journos look even shitter yet we let them run rampant with our name.

your all missing the big picture here, how is he going to fit into the team with both Griezman and Ronaldo playing? I also worry about Fellainis development if they arrive.

should we go triple pivot with a smidgen of diamond or go full isosceles triangle style?

Watch this Man Utd, you should take a leaf from Bayern Munich's book. This is how you deal with bs rumours. The Germans don't feck around.

Yeah, like Pogba.

Pogba is different entirely it was obvious he was going to come back to us.

I like transfer season as much as anyone but I'm bored of this window already it seems we're linked with anyone and everyone, even worse than previous windows.

It's a lot easier to quash rumours for your own players. Not so easy for players of other teams, that are linked with us.

Surely SKY have to reconsider their use of Guillem Balague as a genuine 'source'.

Yes, the guy is a praised football write (has a half-decent column, wrote a half dozen okay books); but that means sweet feck all in the scheme of being a source who has insiders within major clubs. He clearly doesn't have any insight into the dealings of major clubs...he gets embarrassed time and time again, every transfer window.

Why SKY continue to use him astonishes me.

The one transfer he called right was the Di Maria. I think he broke the news on that one. But hasnt done shit since then.

I love Bayern for the fact that they deny anything pretty immediately that they know is not happening. Like they did with CR story and now this. Atleast it prevents a meltdown

I'll give him the Bailly signing too as I remember was the first one who broke it, other than this, he's a disgusting journalist.

I can guarantee you didn't say that when we were first linked to him.

United pride themselves on the bullshit rumours. The more we are in the news, the more clicks stories about us generate, the more we can charge our sponsors in marketing deals.

Ever hear of the 659million 'followers' Ed Woodward came up with? It's genius.

I'll have to write details about it her another time.

He's a cnut anyways throwing his team under the bus because he didn't win the golden boot.

I totally agree. Any player chasing individual glory is in the wrong sport. This is a team game. The fact that Lewandowski would want his teammates to assist him more in the final games to get more goals, is ridiculous and something no great boss (such as Carlo Ancelotti) would even consider for more than one second.

It's pretty much a common practice in most teams in situations like this to get their team mates the golden boot if it's within the reach.

It's pretty hard to execute with players like Robben though. Those two have quite a dislike for one another. Plus the first part, you'd say Ronaldo is in the wrong sport too?

Bayern are butt hurt about transfer rumors about one of their players, but it's fine for them to screw another team from the Bundesliga when they want a player from that team
